We are re-visiting the Daily/Weekly quests with guidence from the community.
As previously mentioned, the only reason we have the Upgrade Tokens was as a way to prevent guilds from dominating the server (stock up on thousands of upgrade mats and anyone who joins pretty much gets endgame gear fully upgraded and such), but we also realise that this may not be the best way to get Upgrade Tokens and the Daily/Weekly quests may be too long winded.

Not hard, but when i'm doing everything solo from Dev, Resource editor, etc, it becomes more of an inconveince to keep this site updated
Hello Flyffers,
A lot has changed since i last posted an update on this site.
We've gone through 2 patch updates AND a complete wipe of the server.
With some fundemental changes to Alpha Centauri.
To find out more about Patch Updates V0029 and V0030 follow the links below.

As for the changes as part of the Wipe Update, you can find those details below.
The first change is that we no longer use VXXXX as our versioning scheme, we now use the more traditional VX.X.X.X.
As such this first release is V2.0.0.0
Wipe Changes
Server Rates
Due to popular request, server rates have changed to the following
- 30x EXP
- 45x Drop
- 65x Penya
Note that Drop and Penya are still classed as customised, so these rates will vary and any drops we've added will be highly customised. To find out drop/penya values for individual monsters, please use the In-Game Wikipedia
Fashion No Longer Farmable
fashion pieces are no longer farmable in-game.
With exception to Masks/Glasses/Cloaks as they still exist in the Collector Field Store.
Fashion items are now sold from the Fashion Sellers (Male/Female) in Flaris Town.
Fashion Stats/Set Effects
Fashion Sets Effects and Stats are now back.
Possibly one of the biggest changes we originally commited to when start Alpha Centauri was that we didn't think fashion sets should have stats, let alone set effects and that fashion should've been purely cosmetic.
This has now all changed, and we have re-added ALL missing set effects and stats back to fashion items (including Masks, Cloaks, etc).
Weapons/Armour no longer in stores
As a popular request, we've removed Weapons/Armour from being sold in stores.
Instead they are now farm only.
As part of this change, we've also increased ALL drop rates for Weapon/Armour pieces to 10x their original rates.
This will of course change on a case-by-case basis if these drop rates are still too low.
Card Changes- 15% and SR cards are now CRAFT ONLY.
- 12% and R cards only drop from Dungeon Monsters/Bosses
- 10% and S cards drop from Boss Monsters
- 7% and A cards drop from ALL monsters that DON'T match the above criteria.
All the stated cards can be Crafted from their lower teir cards (except 7% and A Cards as these are the lowest value cards currently being dropped).
Crafting Changes- 15% and SR Cards - Requires 20x 12%/R Cards
- 12% and R Cards - Requires 20x 10%/R Cards
- 10% and S Cards - Requires 10x 7%/A Cards
Drop Rate of Yggdrasil Pieces
Although the inital vote was undecided, the staff decided it would be a good idea to adjust the drop rate of Yggdrasil Crafting Items.
This change can be reverted, but we've adjusted drop chances to be based on how many monsters are present in each dungeon.
With that said, the Yggdrasil Weapon Crafting items will drop at a rate 5x the rate of Yggdrasil Armour Crafting items, as Mars Mine contains about 5x as many monsters as Rhisis Trials.
Saint Morning/Darkon Dungeon Changes
Another slightly undecided change, that we have actually changed.
This vote was 50/50 on what should be done and after investigating the EXP increase that we had made to Mars Mine (which was used to increase the EXP values of Saint Morning and Darkon dungeons), we found out we only ever increased by 2.5x.
So we've undone this change and reduced EXP obtained from Saint Morning and Darkon dungeons by 2.5x, but again if this proves to be too difficult to level, we can increase it once again.
Daily/Weekly Quest Changes
No longer do Daily/Weekly quests give Penya/Perin.
Instead we've gone with Upgrade Tokens, these tokens are now the only way to upgrade your gear.
*Note, these items are currently locked to your characters. So every character you wish to upgrade gear on will be required to complete quests. But we do have plans to make a Website Account locked system, so you can trade/mail these items to any account within your Website Account
They are easy to obtain. With 150 chips as rewards per Daily and 1500 chips rewards per Weekly quests.
This means if you complete all daily/weekly quest, you will obtain 12,750 chips per week.
This can be increased or decreased to balance with upgrading requirements.
As this menas you can get upto 2,125 (1,593 is using Ultimate Blessing of Baruna) upgrade attempts with Baruna items per week.
There is now a "Upgrade Store" in Flaris Town that can be used to buy the scrolls/items required to upgrade.
Current Prices of Upgrade Items:
- Elementing: 1 token
- Normal: 2 tokens
- Ultimate: 3 tokens
- Normal Piercing: 3 tokens
- Jewellery: 4 tokens
- Baruna: 6 tokens (8 If using Ultimate Blessing of Baruna)
- Baruna Piercing: 6 tokens
- Scroll of Awakening Augmentation: 5 tokens (boxes available that offer upto 20% off)
*Note, the above token values are based on all items required to attempt an upgrade once, WITHOUT any success increase scrolls.
Inventory Tab Changes
As of yet, we've not merged any Buff Items (this is planned for a future update) into "Super Buff Items".
But what we have gone and done is moved ALL Quest Items (which are used for certain item types) AND Buffs into a single tab.
This means instead of your current buffs taking up 90% of your main inventory tab, you can now have them take up 90% of a tab that isn't used for a whole lot of items.
After Notes (IMPORTANT)
As of yet, only Elemental Cards will drop in-game. We're still configuring the rates for 7%-12% and A-R Cards.
15% and SR Cards will no longer drop as mentioned above.
Elemental cards drop at a flat 10% rate from Majority of monsters.
We do still have some changes that we need to make, but none that are critical to the starting of the server. Such as changing some of the Raised Pet effects, Making the cards mentioned above drop, and more.
Events
As this is a fresh start, we will be hosting several events in the coming weeks, but the following are in effect as of now

As always guys, we really appreciate your help, support and dedication to making this server what it is.
