A new version of Miqobot with Chocobo Racing is already released, and we are making a promo video now.
Here's the final look of Gold Saucer tab, along with 3D Radar extension.

Hey,
looks like a great bot.
Only issues is that it's totally overpriced compared to all other bots on the market.

Plus, I really don't like the way you try to say your bot is totally safe. Since its an injection based bot, its absolutely not safe.
Injection based bots are not undetectable, not at all.

no idea what your talking about, the only way this can be considered overpriced is because of what the bot can do right now, but like they have stated its still in the process of creation with multiple features being worked on, so no.. $10 is not overpriced for everything this bot will end up offering.

You are also wrong about the injection bot being not safe, if it is done correctly (and they have done it correctly as I have been using this) it is completely undetectable, almost any bot you can get for FFXIV uses injection. Its only detectable if it is actually changing things in the games code and memory, where as all this is doing is reading it and not tampering with it at all.

Yes you said it : "will end up offering".
It's actually offering basic things that are absolutely not worth 10$.
The price is the reason I'm not buying it actually, and I'm not the only one : )

You don't seem to know a lot about injection. I worked on most known bot for WoW. Used a lot of bots for many games. And I can assure you that it can be detected. It's more like a fight between game dev's and bot dev's.
That being said, GL with it and I hope your bot will work and I would love your bot with more feature.

But tbh, you shouldn't go that high for now, or maybe sell permanent licences for like 15$ for the first X month of the release of your bot ( it will pull lot of customers, trust me : )

Unless you're sandboxing/vming the game and not injecting code, it's not too hard for a dev to detect a publicly available bot.

However, the history of Square is that they don't seem to care enough to look so far. They seem to ban mostly for obvious hacking and absentee play when reported. I wouldn't be worried about this level of botting if you are keeping an eye on it until Square changes their stance on bots. But, definitely not undetectable from a comp sci standpoint, and certainly not from a behavioral standpoint. If you are using any bot you should know what you are risking.

I really like what you are up to with Miqobot. I think you should also mention in the faq that dx9 is unsupported if that's still the case. I don't think it's quite for me (I'd need it to be half price, support dx9 and support standard mode movement), but keep up the great work! And thanks for helping Acme!

By the way, if you can read the chat log, a GM message received is of type 0x0050 (as detected by ACT. other examples are 0x0003 system message, 0x000d tell received). Might be nice to use that to trigger a kill switch.

Thank you for defending our cause!

We are glad to know that you enjoy Miqobot, and we're very grateful for your trust and support.
We sincerely hope that you won't be disappointed in the future.
Thank you for your kind words

Thank you for your review!

Excuse me for my lack of understanding, but what exactly do you mean by injection?
Miqobot is extremely careful when it comes to game interaction. She doesn't use any hooks, code injections, memory hacks, or anything that would reveal her presence.
Why would you jump to a different conclusion?

- If you are asking how Miqobot interacts with your character - it's just plain data-reading and keypressing.
- If you are asking how 3D Radar is implemented - then again, this is just an advanced WinAPI technique. It's actually a separate transparent window of a separate process, which is placed on top of the game. The game doesn't even know that something else is being drawn on the screen, as its code stays completely unmodified at all times.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you are saying that Miqobot seems to be injection based because of the things it can do, well then, thank you for the compliment!
From the early days of development we have stated a rule for ourselves - do not ever mess up anything inside the game. So in order to compensate for the lack of tools we knowingly rejected, we now have to go the hard way of creating a complex AI. Behind those simple buttons lie multiple layers of artificial intelligence with hundreds of special cases on each of them. So if you are saying that the techniques we use are so powerful that they even look like injections, then it's definitely a good sign. It means we are moving in the right direction
So thank you for sharing your opinion very much, it's very insipiring!

Is it planned to make an auto-craft feature without having the need to enter keycommands manually?

The current price for Miqobot is what our marketing team has decided for now.

1) They say that putting a lower tag price would actually damage the number of subscriptions. I personally have no idea how that works They are always monitoring the market and conducting some researches, so we trust them.
2) We don't have any hidden payments or special add-ons that would go for an extra. Our price policy is all-inclusive. When you buy subscription, you get full access to everything in Miqobot.
3) We always offer free 48-hour trials, which are reset with every major feature release. So if you're waiting for a specific feature that is not available yet, you don't have to worry about your trial. Your trial will be reset and you will be able to check out new features before buying.

But I'm definitely delivering your advices to them. The market is always changing, so I guess we might change as well.
Thank you!

And by the way, Chocobo Racing is a major feature release. So all trials were reset yesterday
Would you let us know what features do you lack exactly?

1) About Sanboxing.
That's right, I see your point.
In theory, game devs could perform a process and signature scan to find whether Miqobot is currently running.
But in practice, such methods would drastically impact the game's performance, and it would affect millions of innocent players who don't even know what a Miqobot is. And it would also require extra development time, but they already have their hands full with preparing new patches and delivering new content.

Besides, there's no reason why they would want to do that.
We offer our players an option to skip the painful grind, as there's literally no fun in doing something over and over again. It's like an insane pointless job. If there was no such option, players would simply unsubscribe and cease to play altogether.
What we offer is a win-win: we make players happy by helping them reach their dreams in the game, and we also make game developers happy by keeping players subscribed.

So yeah, I agree with you that Square doesn't care much. I think it's a mutual agreement between us and game devs rather than a fight. We don't implement any cheats that would upset the game's balance, and they don't stand in our way of making everyone happy.

And there's one more thing - Miqobot will also be happy.
She was created with the purpose of destroying grind walls, this is her destiny. And by helping you she is fulfilling that destiny, thanks to you she's living her life.
Maybe a little overemotionally, but you get the point

2) DirectX 9 Support.
Thank you for bringing this up.
We are working very hard to release DirectX 9. Though it means twice more work for us to fix Miqobot when the new patch is out, we are fully aware that a lot of players need the DX9 version. We are planning to make it available with one of the upcoming upgrades.
And yeah, we're already looking into standard movement support. As we are focusing on adding new features at the moment, it might take a while. But eventually, Miqobot will support both modes of navigation.

Helping Acme wasn't that hard, I just shared something he would find out eventually
But to be honest, I actually admire his work. We've been messing around with crafting math for some time, and we have an early version of a crafting solver too, but it's still far from his masterpiece.

3) Chat log GM message.
This is an awesome piece of info!
I'm sending this to our developer responsible for chat logics, and we are definitely adding this to our ASAP-list.

Thank you very much!

Of course it is planned
This is the crafting solver I was talking about in my previous post. We already have a prototype, but it's still unstable and it might take a while before it goes live.
But there are also other improvements for Crafting planned, such as making a crafting list by name, auto-crafting ingredients if necessary, integration with Retainer bot, and much more.

Thank you for your interest very much!

Have been testing it for the duration of the trial, it's been a joy messing around with the waypoints. There are some minor things missing that would make it more efficient such as simple priority system at certain nodes (get hidden spawns / maps), allow for collectable rotations and a little bit more options in the crafting department, but as it seems it's all in development.

It seems way more competent bot than from what i have tested so far, although comic sans and catgirl persona is something i can live without. Well, not up to me to decide and it doesn't affect it's function so that's fine.

Keep up the good work, if i continue to need it's service once 3.2 hits i'll be buying the thing probably.

You are right, we have a lot of features in development at the same time, and we will release them as soon as possible :)
Both Gathering Hidden items and Collectable Rotations are already implemented, but still a little unstable. As soon as we solve a couple of technical issues, both upgrades will be released. Crafting features are still partly under research, but we try our best to speed things up.

Oh, and we can add a customization section, to let you hide catgirl image or adjust GUI, if that will make you happier :)

Thank you for your review and support!

Bot looks nice and promising but the price tag is too high for what it offers. Would buy if it was $5/month otherwise there are better options for lower price...

Thank you for letting us know!
We are still researching the market and gathering opinions.
And don't hesitate to check out your free 48-hour trial before you make your decision :)

We have finished a promo video, so here it is:

Miqobot v1.2.1 - Chocobo Racing

1. Go to Chocobo Square.
2. Get near Chocobo Registrar NPC.
3. Press Start

Miqobot will register to the race, wait for invitation to pop, and try to perform as best as she can.
With enough stats on your chocobo you can expect to be in the first places!
Maiden, R-40, and R-60 classes are suppported out of the box.
And you can easily create your own presets with the built-in Race Recorder.

Additional features in this version:
- Attach-to button on Monitor tab. Lets you switch between game instances (like multibox).
- Automatic focus on in-game windows.
- Chocobo Racing waypoints show on 3D Radar. Not only during the race, but also in the location where that race takes place (Southern Thanalan, Eastern La Noscea, South Shroud).
- Random course is also supported.

Rejoice! Next release will bring forums!

Hi,

I seem to have a problem. The navigator will not update any paths or auto-connect any paths. It only shows the green or red box around the screen when the editor is set to 'off' and won't connect any paths no matter what settings I have chosen.

Other than that it is really coming along nicely. The choco racing feature works perfectly and is extremely easy to set up. The fishing also works fabulously, many thx to you and your team.
I do agree about it being a bit pricey though. I'd love to continue using it but am not ready to be spending again what my sub to the game costs.

Many thanks.

The bot is pretty good, but I have to agree with others, the pricing is pretty high.
I'd happily pay a one time life time fee though.
