Forgive me a noob question, but do I need ALL those skills that are in options and set up a hotkey for them?
I do have most od them and when I choose ie. Walnut Lumber and press Start it gives me "Key:None is an invalid key please change key settings"
Can't pass that

You need all skills that you currently have bound, unless its 100% useless such as Basic Synth & CS1 when you have CS2.

Stuff like standard synthesis is actually useful... I can add a check for non-set hotkeys though, I'll post an update tomorrow with that + a bugfix that I've implemented...

Also make sure you have Confirm, Cancel, CursorUp, CursorDown, CursorLeft, CursorRight, and RecipeNote bound.

Bind Class change keys unless you always start it on the right class without a mixed recipe list.

Either disable food by setting the level high or bind a key to food.

Since you know the simulator most intimately, are there any specific cross-class skills your recommend for the highest efficiency and having HQ crafts complete with the least amount of steps? Is it a good idea to favor cross-classing skills like Waste Not/Waste Not II and Rapid Synth?

UPDATED.

Tricks is amazing, hasty is amazing, sh2 is amazing... most of the skills are pretty obvious.

WN2 is very good for high dur recipes, WHEN you have precise touch, otherwise it's garbage(the program wont almost ever use it if it sees you dont have PT).

WN1 is ok if its an item starting with even duration, but manipulation/mm1 are very close to same efficiency if not better, they don't make or break you, they're things you can drop or add.

Rapid Synth is VERY nice when you need a lot of CS hits and ingenuity is garbage (at max level this situation doesnt happen... yet, it will on future patches).

My strong recommendation is against grinding on items that are higher level than you when you're doing heavensward recipes because an item 3 levels higher is actually 9 or 10 levels higher on the sim.

Why do you need heart of the class casted?

It's just a toggle that stops/allows heart to be casted or not, however it's not really worth using heart in anything yet so the bot doesnt use it.

When do you take donations for developing that bot?

Also, is there any chance you could implement a feature that only makes the bot use skills that you have actually declared hotkeys for? E.g. mine got stuck one time because he wanted to use a fire aspected skill that I didn't have set up on my hotbar and subsequently got stuck.

One problem I'm having is that the bot updates the wrong CP value, which leaves the current craft in a bind.

This is a keybind misfiring or something keybound wrong.

Open craftflow.log under logs and look for the string CPERROR.

It's not good to have a skill bound as SHIFT + F and another as F, because shift + f can sometimes misfire as F, use secondary keybinds in FFXIV to set it to odd buttons you dont use for other skills.

It's ok to have skills bound to ALT+0, SHIFT+0, CTRL+0, as long as zero is no bound.
