Hey is the bot safe?
Can they detect it in some ways?
There is always a danger of being detected when using a bot, however SquareEnix currently does not have any software that scans your computer and checks for botting/hacking software, so people are getting away with quite a bit.
To get banned you would have to be reported by another player, but it is very hard to detect fish botting, since all it is is pressing a few buttons, and you have to move every now and again due to the "The fish sense something is amiss" message, so you never fish in the exact same place for hours on end.

I just wanted to say thanks for the time and effort you put into this. The interface is intuitive, the functionality is excellent, and an all around great application to use.
So.. the new .5 has been working for awhile now and all of a sudden today i try it and i get a error with a debug-log file what happend? D= attached is the debug log it made
Deleted it and redownloaded it, right click unblocked it andunzipped and try'd it failed once. Then click on it again and now its working o.O no clue x.x can look at the debug log if u want. But seems to be working again

Based on the debug-log it seems that windows was blocking it. This can happen if the bot isn't being run as administrator.
Little update: I've finished writting the code for process selection (Multiboxing) and the use of Patience, Precision and Powerful hookset and Chum abilities. Right now I am waiting for my UI designer to finish the necessary changes to the UI, since my current design does not have a ton of room for additional settings.
I hope to have something out for you by the end of this week.

- Added a process selector to the UI. You can now select which game process you would like the bot to interact with. If you only have one game process running then you do not need to select anything.
- Added support for Chum (Select it under settings). When activated, the bot will use Chum whenever the player has enough GP.
- Added support for Patience (Select it under settings). When activated, the bot will use Patience when the player's GP is full, and the bot will automatically use Powerful and/or Precision hooksets depending on the tug type. NOTE: Chum and Patience cannot currently be used together.
