That can tend to happen at night. Sometimes the server crashes and if no one is available to restart it, it will stay down. It happened last night as well. Sometimes xworndownx is doing so testing and it will go down as well.

Ran into a few small bugs while playing, though you guys probably know about them already. All my play time has been without @ commands fyi if that helps.

Attempting to get the CS for the second Sandy mission in King Ranperre's Tomb (examined the spot titled: Rochefogne) appeared to crash the serer. This was a few days ago, and it looks like you already dealt with NPCs crashing the server.

Fungus Beetle (NM) was not up in West Ronfaure, or no where near his supposed spawn location at least.

Rock Eaters in La Theine drop King Ranperre's Tomb chest keys.

Playing as a 18 WAR with no sub I had 1 MP. I was wearing a combination of Scale mail and lv7 leather set, so there was no mp from gear.

Also probably unrelated to the server, my meteorXI crashed quite often today when before it had been pretty stable.

If there's anything specific I should be testing/trying out, please let me know.

P.S. Do I need to do the subjob quest to access it? I overheard someone on the servers saying crab aprons and skulls hadn't been dropping. And for that matter, what is the suggested way to go about switching jobs at the moment if we shouldnt use @ commands and the mog houses are buggy?

I've been hearing about the SJ quest glitch and wonder if anyone has tried it in Mhaura.

@changejob # # is the job number
@changesjob # this is for sub-job

so for example @changesjob 1 will make my subjob warrior

You can use these commands to access sub-jobs.

Remember to log out before u change jobs, because sometimes you will lose the progress in level if you change before you logout. The server does not always save the levels unless you logout.

Some of those bugs I was aware of, but some I wasn't. xworndownx is working hard to fix all the bugs he knows about, but there is a lot going on and not all can be taken care of for a while. Thank you tho for the bug submit.

Minor update

A minor update has been made.

Some of the items to learn spells were not working, many of these have been fixed and now players can learn most black,white, and ninjutsu spells with the scroll of that spell.

- I did find a bug in the scroll of Sleep, so that one still didn't work, but it should be fixed here soon.

Please post if a certain scroll is still not working. I'm pretty sure most work now tho.

Minor updates: pt2

Not a lot out of me lately but I am keeping busy.

Requests: Expand the range where players disengage.
-- Patched, Ready for testing.
---- Increased the distance where you auto-disengage. This is much better.
----- Could be causing a bug where you just can't attack a mob, until you range attack it. Usually happens with new characters for whatever reason.

Range Exploit: Players can attack non-moving targets and not get hit!
-- Patched, Ready for testing.
---- You now have to be closer to the mob in order to actually attack
----- see the above bug possibility.

Bug: @changejob: Xp carries over to the next character.
-- Patched, Ready for testing.
---- You will not start with the xp you left off with on that job. If you have a lvl 20 with 1.2k xp, switching to that char should give you the 1.2k you left it at.
------ Note you still need to log out before changing jobs.

Exploits: Full HP/MP from changing the main job or sub job.
-- Patched, Ready for testing.
---- If you are in combat you will not get full HP/MP
---- If you are not in combat you will.
---- This also applies if you are in a party regardless of combat.
----- ****.. Untested.. lol. Should work in theory.

Spell Items: Some missing/ can't learn.
-- Borfax added a TON of whm/rdm/blm/nin spell items that can be used. So props to him for taking it on. See the above post.

More Bugs, already mentioned a few in game.

I couldn't switch to PLD after completing the quest. PLD shows up as lv. 0 in my menu. Have not tried a moogle yet.

Boost lasts 3 minutes and does not wear with one hit.

When I had windower plugins running, the chatmon would constantly say "Party Invitation" at various times.

Tumbling Truffle (NM) was not up in La Theine.

Unimportant: Fungus Beelte (NM) in W. Ronfaure is now up, but does not drop his shield (Clipeus) which is a guaranteed drop.

Quick question, should I bother with trying to unlock advanced jobs? I'm guessing the events/scripting aren't quite in place for them yet and regardless I can't use them it seems.

Edit: changing to pld in a mog house worked and then allowed use of @changejob 7 to pld.

~Bugs~

Counter is nonexistant

Rabbit Family's whirl claws drain

There's no data to back it up, but it seems like most lv30+ mobs have the incorrect HP. I can't even kill an EP on my 38 WAR anymore. I used to solo RNG pre 35 on retail servers on the worms in Attowa Chasm and couldnt knock out a kill here. Same thing with Goblins outside jeuno. Maybe my **** gear has finally caught up with me

I parsed a fight with a Flesh Eater in Attowa, around 1913 hp. There's no hp info on ffxiclopedia, so if someone has a retail account and wants to verify my theory that would be cool.

Edit: Rock Eaters in N. Gustaberg (S) are lv 32-34 and have ~1000hp according to wiki. Whereas Flesh Eaters are only a few levels higher (34-37) with almost double the hp according to my parse. Tomorrow I will check rock eaters in game.

Just hopped on Quetza to check it out, the numbers aren't even close. Each worm had roughly 950-1050 HP. And considering worms have the lowest HP overall of any mob family in the game that makes me a little worried...


Bug report:
1.) Boost icons stack and the effect doesn't wear after an attack.
2.) Divine seal still does not recognize any cure spells as healing magic.
3.) After unlocking PLD, unable to switch to it with the @changejob command, had to find a working moogle, on the bright side the moogle in aht urghan whitegate loaded for me and was able to change my job as well as use my mog safe effectively (aka nothing disappeared).
4.) Mog satchel, sack, and locker still don't work, even in Aht Urghan.
5.) Boneworker's Guild merchants don't do anything.
6.) @changesjob completely recovers HP/MP, even in battle.
7.) Equipping a bow will add dagger weapon skills instead of ranged weapon skills, though you are unable to use them even though they're lit up.
8.) Speaking to Helbort in Southern San d'Oria will trigger the final cutscene of the sandy mission line, also in that CS Rochefogne appears as a tarutaru rather than an elvaan.

Missing Content: Enemies have no abilities!

---- a Majority of the enemies will now use TP abilities.
------ Tofuti put together some good code and it is being tested on the server. While this is a partial implementation of the mob abilities Tofuti and Kyousousha are working on polishing up the code for full implementation. Hats off to you both, keep up the great work!


Small Updates:

---- Changing job or sub won't heal you for the time being.

Exploit: Using @zone while healing gave you permanent healing!
-- Patched, Ready for testing.
---- Temp fix: Healing disables the @zone command.

Amazing progress being made here! I'm SO happy to see this project moving forward.
I've been really busy with work, but I think I've finally got some time to get into the server and help troubleshoot. Even better, I'm going to attempt to familiarize myself with C++ enough that I can make some contributions.
