With any good re-install comes a server change.

When I'm done it will be more like the XP, Crystals, Gil, Beastmen seals will hit zero drop rate after a player/party member is +10lvls above the mob.
Then the drop rate for all other items will reduce based on how far above a player is beyond that. (For Example) If an item had a 20% chance to drop then that would reduce 1% per 10 player level. Thief main TH1 would see a .87% and TH2 would get .75 reduction. Now, these are not the actual numbers I'll use because I have to work those out yet. But you get the idea.
Finally since this item drop limit doesn't necessarily apply to retail than this would be a feature that server operators can turn on/off as they see fit. This is something I would have turned on in my server. What others do in theirs is up to them which is why it will be an option and not a forced procedure.
Besides most server ops have the drop rate at like 30+ which is IMO dense. I don't feel the sense of reward or accomplishment when things are just handed out like candy.
For now I'll leave the server as it currently is which includes the vendor armor price fix. The rest of it will wait till I get FFXI installed on the other PC to test in a party atmosphere. Which is after I sleep.
