Dark Arts- no effect, timer shows 0:00 but normal countdown is active
Light Arts- no effect
Strategems- no effect

-Spells-
Dia- Can stack on itself infinitely

Poison- generates a random effect message (receives effect of sleep, st21, ko etc.) at one point it had massive damage but was unable to reproduce that effect after moving to a different area.

Protect(all)- can not learn it atm since scrolls seem to act like an antidote

Lets see if I can reply to nearly everything in one post:

For starters thank you for the bug reports it helps me figure out where we are and glimpse to where we are going.

When spells look like antidote it is because they are not scripted yet. Looks like Antidote is like a default animation for missing things.

RE: Server crashes and the like. You guys really don't have to tell me the server has crashed. I mean, it's right next to me and I monitor it every moment I am home. Though sometimes I like to get outside smell the fresh air, go to work and sleep. Typically during these times the server crashes and I'm just not here to restart it. Be patient. I'll be coming home or waking up soon enough to get it back online.

Live Server Update:
For those that have not noticed the server was updated yesterday and here are some highlights.

Poison: Temp fix
Paralyze: Temp fix

Some NPC's have been changed in Bastok.
Brunhilde now sells a few Crystal Clusters for a pretty hefty price. But at least it's there to test the crafting. Keeping it only active in Bastok for the time being till it gets some use.

Other misc quest NPC's have been updated as previously mentioned.

@GM Commands:
Yes, it was them causing a butt-load of havoc on the server and crashing it. They are NOT bad when people use them properly but such isn't always the case.

@zone, @changesjob and @skill are currently allowed. @skill has been updated slightly to prevent people from typing @skill 9 99999999999999 which can cause problems.

I will be overhauling the GM commands in the future but they are not a priority at this time.

This update focused on a major bug that let players use any weapon skill with any weapon regardless of your current skill by just typing it into the chat box or using a macro. You could also use a macro and spam a weaponskill w/o any TP.

Glad to say that this has been patched out in the live server. At least a first beta release of the system has been implemented.

Players should no longer be able to:
-use a WS not available to their weapon type: No more combo with a Great Axe!
-use a WS they don't have enough skill for: No Viper Bite at level 10 (or skill lvl40 now)

A lot of things are going on and happening around my little world. Recently I have been down sick with a flu that has me all screwed up. I'm still working on things but my concentration is a bit off. I feel better a bit better today so I can get some things done.

Some bugs-
The spell poison invokes random effects still... on the mob
as well as including giving the user crazy refresh and regen of 20 or more

Tested out clothcrafting briefly, for just crafting it seems to work, a nice feature to add would be maybe informing the player of a level up.
Double attack doesn't seem to function
When Weapon skills miss they show up as hitting for 0. (Least i think that's them missing)

Paunelie Southern San d'Oria (E-8) Linkshell Distributor
Is acting like the leathercraft guild npc
Kueh Igunahmori whom subsequently isn't working.

All linkshell vendors don't work.
Wanted to test out if i could make a linkshell even though we can't trade

Mog houses- Ones in windy work(port and woods), I successfully changed my main job, to various others and back to war on Lier. The moogles work 100%! If anyone can confirm?
With Support job quest done you can switch subs via moogles. And the need for @changesjob command is gone.The Moogles in windhurst appear to be working besides upon exitting tossing you in random unreachable areas.

Windurst woods MH kicked me to H-9,
Port windy actually tossed me under the docks which amusingly i could move around.

Thanks Vin! I'll look into a few of those..

I took the PC and server down earlier to do a little maintenance and apply another small update.

Server Update:
Performance upgrade: I cleaned up and closed off some code that was bleeding over.
NPC spawning: Tweaked this a little so that they spawn a little faster while in the zone.

I won't be adjusting the NPC spawning any further until I get the SQL cleaned up which is causing a fit load of issues.

You won't notice the performance changes but you may notice the NPC adjustments.

yep the npc appear more faster that before...

I do the first mission on San d Oria no problem, and i'm doing the second not finishing jet but dont have any problems (so far so good)...
i will continue doing San d Oria mission until i get error or cant continue...

Unable to switch targets during battle.

Usually the game will auto-target an enemy that is attacking you after you kill your current enemy and are facing them, this doesn't work.

Snippers in the Valkurm Dunes are aggressive.

Whilst dual wielding, missed attacks done with the off hand are done with the main hand (looks like double attack).

Snippers don't seem to drop crab aprons, I must of killed almost 20 now and nothing. I got the skull and worm with relative ease.

Dark: I am making the changes to the exe not the LUA files.

Edit: No need to further test the Auction house it is not functional. I'll be re-coding it over the next few days.

The quest "The Holy Crest" for Dragoon class has an issue where Noval, (NPC) in Bostaunieux Oubliette stops the chat after his second line, and the music still plays, but you're kind of stuck in the cut scene.

The Holy Crest Boston Obeliux Npc crashes client

Forge your destiny quest (to unlock sam doesn't start)

PLD questline is messed up talk to the npc and he rewards you without doing quests.(dunno about the first but for the second and third he did)

The pickpocket quest at west ronfaure @ F6 Hiruzen had issues with the npc crashing him


Spells:

Sneak Scroll not working - Reported by Ronfar - Another antidote effect
Scroll of invisible works, but Invisible Spell fails, Mobs can still see you - Reported by Ronfar

Items:
; ; Lots of items npc for 0 Gil

Job Changing by moogle- Leaves old gear on, Meaning 30 war wearing gear was on, and i ran around on pld one shotting things.
But you can't use abilites or wses of the other job. I.E i had a GA on but couldn't use any GA ws as PLD.

Sub Job Doesn't stay synced with main job. I.E. Pld 6/War 1
War on my Job Roster is still listed 31.

Another morning and more buggies in the system. Didn't get much done this morning/last night. Being sick and work ya tend to slow down.

Updates: All of this needs tested.

-Summoner
--Release pet: Fixed
--Dismiss: Works the same as Release.
--All pets drain 5mp per 3sec. (temp)

-Thief
-Sneak Attack: Altered the math to add +dex to an attack from behind w/o a WS.

Spells:
-Dia: Won't stack anymore.
-Poison: Changed
-Bio: Won't stack anymore.

I'm still focused on the AH which is partly working but don't use it as it still needs a lot of work. These little things were easy enough to do this morning before work. Back in about 9hrs.

The Fanged one (Rng unlock quest = broken since the old sabertooth doesn't gradually die)
Balam-Agab Spawned in Saroumague Campaign and had drops like a boyada tree goobue
