I uploaded a megamix repack 1337style.
It includes:
Bin/Hex/Dec calculator (Windows actually has this feature in it's calculator, I recently learned.)
FFXIcalculator
POLUtils
Update - Copied to Program Files/PlayOnline/Square Enix/Final Fantasy XI to update files.
FFXIUpdate - The magical file breaker, to purge FFXI into fixing files and updating them.
dotNetFx35setup
BasicInstructions for guidance. More so for those that still ask questions.
I included an easy to load MySQL.bat file that must be loaded first.
There is a cleaned up version of SpiraXI.exe. This must be ran second. Note: If you want to reset the scripts to default, there is a folder in "scripts" called "trunk." You just have to copy the entire contents and paste them in the "scripts" directory. I wouldn't recommend dragging and dropping them, as you may need them later in case you edit a .lua file and something breaks.
There is an editted mXI0.9.0RC1 file simply called mXI.exe that should not crash when set to run on "NORMAL WINDOWER" mode, allowing the use of plugins and scripts, like the original Windower. This file must be ran last.
There's also a folder with ID's in it.
That's about it.
I forgot to add POL for Windows 7. Maybe I'll do that later. It can just as easily be downloaded by googling PlayOnline Windows 7, and downloaded from the official website.
Note: You need dotNetframework 2.0 or higher for this to work.
You need DirectX 8.1 or higher for this game to run.
You cannot run this game with an integrated graphics card (as far as I'm aware.) There are few exceptions. I have an HP laptop with an Nvidia card. It was integrated, however it supports most games. If you think your graphics card will work, update the drivers and try it out.
Skill 1-42 are as follows:
1: Hand to Hand
2: Dagger
3: Sword
4: Great Sword
5: Axe
6: Great Axe
7: Scythe
8: Polearm
9: Katana
10: Great Katana
11: Club
12: Staff
13-24: Are nothing apparently. Otherwise, they're not on my list.
25: Archery
26: Marksman
27: Throwing
28: Guarding
29: Evasion
30: Shield
31: Parrying
32: Divine Magic
33: Healing Magic
34: Enhancing Magic
35: Enfeebling Magic
36: Elemental Magic
37: Dark Magic
38: Summoning Magic
39: Ninjutsu
40: Singing
41: String
42: Wind
43-47 are nothing, according to my list.
Skills 48-56 are crafting skills.
Skill 57 is Synergy.
@skill 1 2760 would set your skill to 276 (which is the default A+ skill number)
@skill 48 1000 would set your crafting skill to 100. It goes up to Legend (160) I think.
@skill 48 1600 would set your crafting skill to 160.
Also, I have made scripts for these, so all you have to do is type:
//spells
//skills
//excalibur
//ares's
//ninaf2+1
//morrigan's
//usukane's
etc... or the long way:
/console spells
/console skills
/console excalibur
etc... or the longer way:
/console exec gear/Ares's.txt
/console exec weapons/Excalibur.txt
--enter while in the game.
There is 1 other way to use these commands. By hitting the key directly above tab "~ or `" It works whether you hit shift or not. But it'll show some red letters. This is the console. You just type the alias name in here, e.g.
hit the tilde key and enter joyeuse
or enter the tilde key and enter skills
Notice that if you /console exec the filename you HAVE to use correct upper and lowercase. Which makes it easier to just use the alias name for it instead, because it is not case sensative. These names can be found in the mXI>scripts folder in a text file called "init.txt" Every item that's been added by me is in that list. Every zone that I added is in that list. I also did not list every zone. If there was a "test" in the name, or "unknown" it was not added.
Also, if you enter the database I uploaded, you will notice that I did change some things around. I may go back and set it all back to default, but it's a long process of looking up TNL's and things of that sort. I tried to make it so that you could raise the cap to 80 without hindering your skills, or weapon skills, but it doesn't seem to work like I had hoped. I changed the onion weapons, I believe, to be a bit faster and stronger, to make leveling easier. I also changed 75 cap skills to be about 30+ higher than the normal 276, to fix the issue I've been noticing with Accuracy. Hope you have fun anyway.
