KingsRoad Release Notes 1/29/14—“Flash Caching Edition”
by Brett Bates | Jan 29, 2014
The latest KingsRoad update is now live. Among the highlights: You can now improve your game performance by caching some game art on your hard drive!
//New Features and Updates:
* Some players now have the option of caching some game on their hard drive. The amount of game art stored locally is variable, but doing so should improve overall game performance. We are rolling this out to a small random segment of users first, and then rolling it out to all users in the coming days.
* Removed Elixirs of Speed from the game world because they could cause performance issues. Any speed potions you have in your inventory will remain, but they will no longer drop in the world or be sold in the shop.
* Added further protection against cheat programs. REMINDER: If Rumble determines that you have been using cheat programs, your account WILL be suspended.
* Look for a Shadow Resist event coming this weekend!
//Notable Bug Fixes:
* Fixed a bug that was incorrectly calculating damage when Dual Wield was equipped.
* Fixed a bug with Archmage where you couldn’t cast another skill for free if your mana cost was below what it would normally take to cast that spell.
* Fixed an issue where the Archer’s Falcon would not move.
* Fixed a VFX bug where using Polymorph on a burned enemy would cause the flame VFX to disappear.
