He cant just decide to rid the game of all cheaters and it will happen, its gonna take a while but we can see that they are actually doing something now

There will always be cheaters in every game, the "worst" that can happen is that it will go back to the old days where everyone would have to make their own cheats but as they have proofen in the past the dev team is too lazy to do something longterm

people were also talking about some features will be patched because of engine upgrade. and that esp will no longer show everything only things close to you will be displayed.

yeah thats basic stuff to patch and already standard in most titles, rendering players that are 2km aways is stooopid just like sending all the unnecessary data like kd, lvl, hs% etc
fixing those issues wont just make cheating "harder" itll also make eft easier to run for weaker pcs

serverside checks for stamina have already been implemented, more will probably come, weve seen the same thing with unlocking doors. Theyve also started encrpyting their packages a while ago showing that theyve slowly increased security

Like I said already, there have been and always will be cheaters in every game, no matter what anticheat devs do

The code overhaul may slow us down a bit having to rewrite some things, and it's possible server side checks (like the recent stam checks) will reduce the number of available features cheats can have.

But I don't think it will be any doomsday scenario like they are saying.
