Anti-cheats and browser tabs
So some cheats (kernaim for example) give warnings about closing some of their webpages before starting up because "the windows can be detected by anticheats".
I'm just curious, are ACs really checking browser tabs like that? I had some of those windows open and played a game using EAC. Would they really flag and ban someone just for having paid cheat browser tabs open?

It's theoretically possible, especially if they decide to target a specific product
Some web radars get around this by using obfuscation/JIT compiling on their web code.
If you're talking about their product website, I think that would be less likely, but they could definitely flag you I imagine.
When you have stuff open on your Game PC I would recommend erring on the side of caution, and follow the instructions of whatever product you are using.

Well it was specifically the "manage purchases" and "how to use our EFT cheat" forum pages. The latter appearing only when you have paid for EFT access. Their loader warns you about keeping them open, but I wasn't using the loader (was on another PC just browsing the pages) and I just forgot they were open and went to play a different game, wasn't trying to test the waters.
Just had me worried since I was playing on my main steam acc and it would be really unfortunate to receive a game ban just for being on a website...

In the past, BE already used this kind of custom detection in their usermode module (shellcode) to focus some providers.
Things are much more complex, but overall it's a small additional security

Forgive me, I'm not very tech savvy.
I don't really understand the screenshots, some sort of obfuscation?
Are you saying it should be ok or I'm probably detected? I was playing a game that uses EAC (Kernaim does not provide services for said game, but some of the games Kernaim supports use EAC) and I was only playing for an hour or two.

You won't have any problems
You will never be banned from a game because you have a web page open on our website or anywhere else
It's just a small flag, flag/detection doesn't mean ban.

Thank you for the answer, I was having a bit of a panic attack today lol. Hopefully it all works out, and I'll be more careful next time.

Well even a small flag could be concerning since I had several tabs open. But it did seem unlikely that I would get banned just for that, only time will tell I guess.

I remember that Xera.ph were the first and only time they got clapped through this meme with (cached IP it was?) from Bastian.
KernelCheats was the first EFT cheat to get flagged by the same meme.

In COD and more likely Warzone its 100% shadowban loop (can get to perm ban as well) . For tarkov it doesn't matter at all currently. I know that from first hand.

Interesting, through the cached DNS IPs or you mean a web browser?

Could you elaborate? The game I was playing wasn't COD or Tarkov. (The website was for Tarkov)

Yeah you would think that, but with people saying its possible to be flagged it just had me concerned. I'm not exactly sure what separates flags from possible bans.

Its like a 'tag' on your account, just says this user might do something against TOS. Depending on the game/anticheat enough flags will lead to a manual review and/or ban

Thanks for the answer. Any idea how many flags it takes for EAC? and if the flags are permanent?

No clue on specifics, its probably not like having 5 flags is a guaranteed ban, there will likely be different severities. Being on a specific website will be a minor offence, if its one at all
Dont worry about it, nothing you can do now
Addition: Ive had multiple gamehacking forums and providers open on a second monitor while playing games and have never been banned just because of that.
Well there was one ban I cant explain, but it was probably just some software running that I forgot to close

You look a little too anxious, don't worry you won't be banned, it's just something to avoid but nothing crazy
I have a ton of spoofer and other stuff probably detected on my pc and browser but everything is fine on all games
