ok i have done the port forwarding by following this guide [Guide] How To Make Your Server Non-Hamachi The Easy Way
after i done it all the msg server still wont connect but account is fine what else can i do?

nice to see you read a guide finally .... as for your next part you need to check your configs. ... your router also might not be loopbacking your IP in which case you need to edit your hosts file

configs are fine and i also edited the host file following the guide still nothing

your problem same with me..port forwarding is ok and website are online..but when i put my ip that i take from and put it into config MSG cannot connect to ACCserver..

Well i fixed my problem with that i might know whats wrong and i could help you with that part, but my problem is that even when i have mostly everything working like the acc, msg, and npc server working and good to go no one can join still and im trying to curently trying to fix that.. So pra if u need my help add me

can someone with team viewer that knows what there doing add me to msn im not to suer why it wont connect. the website connects and acc server but the msg server dont connet to the account server everything else is fine

well , the thing you can do to

first check your configs and change all ip's in every config file from 127.0.0.1 to your ip
exept mysql

o , and dont forget to edit shell.dat o.O

then if that is done , go to your router page ( 192.168.1.1 or so)
see on firewall , DISABLE IT and then you dont have taht problem anymore

then see if you can find DMZ on it , it opens all ports from the router to your pc so you got a extern ip

if that is done , start up the servers and it is done

and to test that it works , just put wamp on it , go to your extern ip and see if it shows something

if that works then the rest works to (then its just your fked up client that doesnt works)

does it not works , then the router is blocking everything

you got 2 diferend ip's

1 ip is extern ip that goes back to your provider and the ip you find all over the net

as example , the extern ip can you find on this website

(my own website :P)

that ip you see is the ip you need to use if you want to get players on your server

then you got a local ip (mostly 192.168.1.X )
the local ip is your ip of your computer
you probaly need to setup your router to point your local ip to your extern ip

thats what they call the DMZ , it opens everything and bypass the router so your local ip becomes the extern ip

now to explain it easy

if you get something like 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.1.X then it is the wrong ip

thats the ip i am using external and i cant connect to client oem is fine just says maint everytime

your ip is working ?? and wamp shows you a webpage if you go directly to the ip ??

then it is the oem and server name that is messed up

if that isnt the case then it is posseble that your message server is wrong , it depends what release you used

the big test is , if you can conect to your ip and see a webpage (index file of wamp) then your ip is working

if it doesnt , then it is firewall/router

for the rest it isnt your ip anymore , then it are other errors like wrong message server , wrong account server or wrong client or wrong settings of the server
but nothing to do with your ip
