When I once changed price of my unixegg in cq_itemtype I had similar problem... solution for me was simple - delete all unix and restore these kolums from old backups ...

changing prices dose not do anything other that up or lower costs if it is not changed client side as well then you will have a problem since your trying to buy it with less EP than it really costs... you may think it cost 5 EP and only have 5 but really it costs 500,000 EP

Its not about PRICES ISSUE!!!
The issue could be that he changed anything else in this unix in cq_itemtype!!!!
And for egazmple this messed his structure... anything that MSG server could recognize ... or config file could .... whatever...
The point is ... IF he do any actions there .... He should firstly do what I suggested...

And please stop explaining such a obvious things like black is black and white is white... :/ Of course price here doesnt metter at all :/

Or you use it or not ...

@dani-filth0 post your cq_itemtype with the uniboxes only in them ask if you need the ids

First you have to do this:
Get a PM account try to use the item. What are we checking? Is there any cq_action code running?

If there isn't then your problem is either your cq_itemtype or itemtype.dat since one or both do not have the correct or any cq_action id

If it is running check what line stops and post what that cq_action line has and we can go from there
