To Every Single One Of The Users In The EO Community

you know what it truly saddens me to see the state of this section of our forums. We have members stealing from other members, releasing things they have no right to release. Other members making comments like and i quote from a PM

It truly sickens me. WtF happened to the community that majority of us had when we first started coming here. Where we didnt have any of this drama BS other than not having a mod or the one mod we did get ended up being worse than hitler.

What it boils down to is no one respects each other anymore. you all have grown so complacient with your selves on these forums that you no longer give a rats ass about anyone but yourselves. When i first became a mod we had people releasing thier own work on a daily basis. The old timers were active and helped out the newbies.

WE HAD COMMUNICATION. Now my next example is truely not directed or intended as a bash twards anyone. please do not take it as so but it actually proves my point. Eurion pointed out that Kronic's voting system was exploitable, (which by the definition of exploitable it actually is Kronic) rather than Kronic PMing Eurion and asking how so, chests get puffed out and replies with "no it aint"

When majority of us first came here that never went on. If we had issues we knew we could go to the older members and get help. sure we might get shit because instead of searching and reading old posts we choose to be lazy but we still got an answer. People Message me on MsN daily asking for help, asking questions about EO, hell they even just ask how i am doing. I got told once in a PM that "you are so unactive your only on maybe an hour a day".

Its not my job to babysit you guys. my job is to kill flames before they get too bad, settle disputes, check my Mod FE for reported cases. By all rights its you guys who are truely ment to help each other and honestly none of you really do that.

Now mind you my little tirade is not ment twards everyone. We do have a few people who still help out. We also have a few people who pretty much just flame because they lack either an IQ or actual knowlege. The point of this whole block of text is

you may not like each other, you may not be able to stand each other. but you are part of a community and a community shares, helps, and supports each other.

P.S. in some things i am as guilty as everyone else

I 100% agree. Um, I think it also has something to do with the fact that private servers arent really improving as much as we used to be. Most posts used to consist of "Release" or "Guide" or something but now theyve changed to "Help" and "Question". Its actually depressing... Lol

Ill try my best to help bring back what it was, but I dont really know if we will get back there, still ill try. From here ill drop all my grudges against people and try to move foward and expand like a community should. As youve said.

EDIT So like I just posted some stuff and I only just realized theres a guide section now. SORRY LOL.

I agree i seen a lot of websites copying people from elitepvpers name and releasing their guides on other sites some make there own forum and copy peoples guides

there's quite a few that do that around here and they could care less about how thier actions effect the forums. all they care about is themselves.

yes .just know im opening a FORUM that have my 100% detailed guide without permission .atleast giving a credit to me and this forum .im not going to tell which forum that .but u will see at "how to start a server" subforum .

to be honest this section has been like this for a very long time ... i could point out around about when the community turned this way but all that will be doing is pointing out a group of people and start yet again another argument.

cruely is right in saying this is because there isnt much development here anymore, when was the last time a newer decent database hit (not a tweaked one but a updated one from chinese sources etc)? to be exact it was before my last server went offline... that was a few months ago (last year some time)

i know some people can point at my project and state that im not doing everything i could be to get development going using my source im making but my source will be working in time... its a big job to do really and im one person.

there has also been a few leading servers go down recently which has affected this section a lot as well..

people need to get back to giving credit where needed and just get on, how can we get better servers and achieve more if all we are doing is fighting and keeping everything to ourselfs?

lol Cruey is a Failed member of this Community as far as im concerned, He was meant to give me 40$ for some Stuff I gave him and he totaly blocked me on MSN instead lol What a noob

I guess I can see what you are all talking about even though I wasn't really around back when things were better. I'm working on some new stuff now and will probably release it to try and help the community more :P something I haven't done a lot of.

It never ceases to amaze me what some people will do for attention. Especially when they are all upset and now have this goal to either make me look bad and/or get themselves banned for pushing buttons. They wish me to ban them that way they can sit here and go to a higher up and claim i was abusing my power. Here is a little info for you all its not going to work. If you dont like me, the community. or this forum then just do us all a favor and leave. If your goal is to get banned, throw fits, act like a 2 year old when your actual age is closer to mine then we dont need you or your drama here.

@40 - there is a difference. #1 i am pretty sure you wont go and PM other members the site hoping to steal members from epvpers. #2 I am also prety sure if yo were to borrow someone else's work you would try to get ahold of the person.

@Kronic - they were good times and i hope that once all the childish trash is either gone or stopped it can go back to being that way again. Is more of we as a community have to band together to accomplish it.

There is no more that can be said as to what your saying is so very right. Lets hope some of the older ppl that helped so very much will start back up or at least help out as they did before. Again Thank you for saying what so many of us think, just didnt even bother to say it.
