what to do after unpacked..

i unpacked data file, but it make a new folder named "data" also inside is another file called "data.pak file" and its over 2gig... my question is, do you guys use the unpack files as reference? or do u guys just replace the old data folder with new one created by unpacker?

in the folder "data" there are all unpacked files from the real data.pak file.
there should be a smaller data.pak inside and thats ok (has nothing to do with the unpacked one).

the unpacked files are only for you to unterstand and how it works. only mesh files will read from the client outside of the data.pak. you cant delete that file.

so then , changing csv files wont do anyting? instead change the mesh file? btw do u use winhex too to edit..???

to edit csv files u can use microsoft excel or u can change the values in the csv files directly by opening them with notepad

i knew that... i was asking if changing "itemupgrade.csv" file from data folder that is created after unpacking the data.pk file would work or not. Also found tht part of the file in data,pk it self but i jsut change the % or what it looks like to 99 but doesnt seem to work.

of course it s not working else the whole server will have whole set +9 and selling for 1 DIL/each
