press F7 in winhex (Show only Text)

the best way to search things like that is to unpack the data.pak and look which csv u want to edit and search in winhex with the keywords from the csv file.

hey there, i have been reading this forum for a while and wanted to post a few things about this topic.

i have a 90+ bow/xbow hunter. While i was playing i wondered how good it would be if i shouldn't keep switching between bow/xbow to use their spesific skills like demolition bomb,fiore novas, triangle shot. I mean using all these skills with a xbow. So i went into data.pak by winhex and worked on skill editing.

Found out these:

So I thought replacing BOW to CROSS_BOW might be hard since i have to add 6 more digits which have to be cut off from somewhere else so i decided to turn Demolition Bomb into a BOW skill other than CROSS_BOW skill. So i did this coding for Demolition bomb:

But unfortunately i didn't work... Now skill was unavailable even if i have my xbow in my hand. So i thought there also might be other things related to this skill-weapon matching. Couldn't figure out yet but the subject is wide open for your comments ^^ Thanks in advance

i want level 10 Devil Swing and level 10 blade spin, what blocks should i change...
cause i tried to understand it and it's very hard there as not in this specific block is the data, only a name...

cause there is tons of block under it that looks same.
like what is the block i look for?

thanks to mastershouter and cosmostunes, im working with it now but winhex is very complicated for a non computer student like me. lol! thanks again! ill come back if i have some question. ny the way does anyone have a progress in the bagi skills?

This is really interesting I have done al the editings have u guys gotten it working? my game runs perfectly but im not sure if the dmg really gotten high up.

i found the damage of my skill(earthquake lvl 6) at the skill simulator for bagi. the value was 3058 and i was able to open the unpacked (earthquake skill) and found the value(3058) and replaced it with 9999. my problem now is when i try to save the changes(3058-9999), i cant save the file at the data/share/skill. how can i save the changes i made at winhex? thanks for your reply!

another question, what data pak will be used to run the game? is it the unpacked by winhex or packed?

You are not using WinHex to unpack data.pak, you are using it to edit data.pak. You can unpack data.pak with a program name 2moons data unpacker (yeah go search for it if you want) and use the unpacked datas by editing .csv files coming from unpacked data.pak. Or just use WinHex to directly edit datas inside data.pak without unpacking it. For skill editing, you have to use WinHex method since unpacked skill datas aren't readed by client. But unpacking data.pak speeds up the searching process of variables in WinHex.

no you can't do this... this 0,are stats of others stats and you will glitch on them...
it will take it from another sourse... maybe it will crash client tons of dc's

err , is this still working ? I've tried to edit my blindjab but it isnt working , berserk skill doesnt work for me too. And there isnt any jumpingcrash/genocide/faedol launch in my skill folder, any idea why ?

I changed the number on Agr3 for my blindjab to both 9999 , since there are 2 hits.. tell me where have i gone wrong

Sure there is JC in thze skill folder. But after BMR we all have to test which things are still possible.

And it didnt worked for skills with more then 1 hit.

DO i actually need to have the skill files in my folder for it to work ? i can just edit it through winhex eh ?

Since faedol is one hit too, it shld work , but i can't find faedol. All i gotta do is search for the faedol's dmg in my data pak and change it to 9999 right ? no ?

what's the offset for faedol / genocide if i may have it ?

I found how to edit most of the skills, i managed to make them to make instant cast of all hist , no mana use, no cool down, so they attack extremely fast. Now the question is , who can pm me to tell me how i can make a winhex script to make some skills for you guys. Who know this good , pm me ;) PS, i will make a video to show how the skills react. This is for EU Dekaron only.
