A9 exes clean up

I believe that the new a9 exes require too much RAM to work properly, especially dkserver.exe (seems like 3gb cant handle it). There is a way to lighten them? I mean like what Hellspider did in the old files, removing the exe encryption.dll the part where it was loaded, since it was useless.

I dont even know if that might fix this problem, but certainly wouldnt hurt to use clean executables. Anyway, someone know how much RAM exactly is required to use properly the a9 files?

Re-reading original threat of Action10, he states that 8gb is enough but dont know how much less exactly. My 4 GB RAM, 1 mbps laptop runs these fine with 20 people~, it just freezes on startup then after 30-60 mins it cools off, like from using 2 gb on startup it goes to 50k or something even less than skype for me so idk wtf is going on ;D

I think what HellSpider meant is that encryption.dll was loaded but not used for some reason, so he removed it. it doesnt decrease the memory needed to run the files, it only cuts like 1kb xd
I dont think you can make the process less heavy, if you do that, you'll hurt the performance a lot.

Ram is the cheapest part of a pc anyway lol...
60 aud (like 56 usd) can get you 16gig of ram... (ddr3 1800 hertz)

I don't know about ones from where ever you live, but I use umart.

Get a pc for 1/4 - 1/2 the price compared to retail stores.
Buying the parts individually and putting it together myself.

Ofc you gotta know what all the acronyms are, and how to do it or your fucked.
But it's not hard. And saves a lot of money.

GPU terrible choice for this kinda mobo and amount of ram. This is pretty much the same gpu I'm upgrading from right now. And why no ssd? Instead of packing so much in CPU and mobo you should have gone with 1150 socket and pentium g3258 and invest the rest in a good gpu or ssd. 16gb ram for gaming is overkill too, but it's just my opinion.

I use 8GB of ram in a virtual machine and only 2 cores when carrying DekaronServer it uses a 3GB memory for your process, after loading it goes to 512MB of ram. Might as well use 16GB of ram for this, but it would not be necessary, because until now I have never seen any program or game that uses this to load your files or load games.

You miss the point of it, i just threw in random pieces that work together.

Just showing that you can smack together some decent parts for a pc, for a cheap as **** price, if you go to a better supplier.


I personaly always stick with high cpu/ram because I need it. I do a lot of mesh/texture **** because of what I'm studying. And having multi layered projects up noms on a lot of ram, and the cpu just helps **** make big changes quicker. And that way I can do multiple things at a time no issue.

And gpu... I'm running a 550 ti. Still runs every game I've got (new and old) full detail, even AA/multi sampling on max. Without overclocking.

You just gotta know what settings to tweak in your bios and in windows.
16gig ram is useful for gaming, you can let your gpu use some of the ram as it's own ram. Basically turn a 1gig card into a 5gig card, so it can hold all the per-rendered ****. Then tweak the nvidia settings to help it load them faster.

if you build your own pc, why throw in random parts? I spent like 800$ on my build so far (including a full hd monitor and a new wireless keyboard) and its just as good/even better with a ssd drive (trust me it does make a huge difference in loading stuff). Im still rocking a 550 ti and you cant run everything on ultra in 1080p (unless youre not running it in 1080p, but then I dont understand why you would upgrade your pc but whatever )

if you do a lot of graphics intensive editing, then why upgrade the CPU and not GPU? idk I might be wrong but I thought graphics stuff is mostly handled by the GPU >.>

is it even possible to mix ddr3 ram with gddr5? this is the first time Ive heard about assigning some ram to the gpu. I only kew that was possible for integrated gpus and apu from amd.
even if its possible, the performance wont be great, gddr5 is way faster than ddr3 especially when you picked 1600mhz xd

I quickly put together a build for the same money as you on pcpartpicker. oddly enough I managed to squeeze in a closed watercooling loop (for overclocking the cpu), 120gb ssd drive and a MUCH better graphics card.

I DON'T throw in random crap. I did it for that just to show an example... sheesh lol.

Stop comparing notes on things to that "build"... it wasn't a serious build, i just threw random shit in there to give example.
And it does work.... and it doesn't give "slow performance".....

Ram simply HOLDS files/info in their raw state so that the running program can access them easier, without searching/finding/opening them.... More space=more space.
Yes there is a "slight" performance gap from ddr3-5. and 1600-1800H.
But the difference in reality... is so minute is not even worth mentioning.
It's like the difference between a 0.3ms screen and a 0.2ms screen... u wont even notice a difference, nor will the computer.

Nek minit you will tell me 60-120 fps = slow, even tho human eyes only see 150-180 max... at that's at their peak performance. A human brain can "read" 1,000 but the eyes will not perceive any diff from stuff over 150-180 fps.
Hence why worrying about "top end" and over-clocking is just dumb/idiotic, have fun with shit eyes later in life.

I'm not sure how ram even comes into the area of being a problem.
I mean every site I have ever looked at in terms of dedi hosting, for a decent network/bandwidth, the machine comes with well more then enough hardware specs to handle dekaron, even if dekaron suddenly doubled in requirements.
Hosting from home pc is being a cheap ass, seeing as most ppl get lots of money from donations in their servers.
