Any really works. But i suggest you go with something expensive.





Or you just look in the texture files for the completely obvious folder named loading and open each file in it till you see that one that comes up when your client starts. Doing this stuff isnt rocket science, take 5mins and look for **** yourself.

I use IrfanView to see .dds files and to edit i use Gimp + Photoshop.

How hard is it to use the search button? This question has been answered at least a couple of hundred times.

I use for viewing IrfanView and for editing Photoshop with nVidia DDS plugin.

If you don't have Photoshop you can also use Nvidia's tool to compress most any image into the dds format:

Setup PhotoShop CS3 then go google and write nvidia dds plugin. download latest dds plugin from nvidia and install then run PhotoShop and load your dds files. you can edit all dds.
