How to make buffs stack?
Hi guys. Recently my friend started his own private server and I have been tasked to test and fix certain classes. At the moment I'm stuck with Aloken. Here's the problem:
My buffs, Increase Range, Resist and Rebellion Swords all have the same icon, therefore they do not stack. How do I change the buff icon? I also understand from surfing this forum that some people have mentioned about raising the icon limit (something like that). I also noticed under my share folder I do not have the status.csv file. How do I go about doing so?
Side question: How do I change Aloken's La Defense? Currently it gives 75% res when maxed but I want it to 40.
Sorry if I created another similar thread, because I tried to look around and I am not very good in IT/Programming stuff. Please help me D:

La Defense is supposed to give 75% :O
Anyway you need to locate your status.csv and change the IconIndex (which should be in the skill folder)
Note: the max is 255 icons and the icon #s correspond to model_effect iirc.

Yeah my IconIndex for Increase Range is 1282, Rebellion Swords 1288 and Resist Decline 1290. What do I need to change? Where do I locate model_effect iirc?

For some reasons, I do not have status.csv but now I am looking into my model_effect. I have already recognized the IconIndex for the 3 skills I want to fix. Now the thing is, which heading/row is the IconIndex? For example: I tried to find 1282 (Rebellion Swords) and it showed 3 results, each in a different column.

model_effect isnt this for the effects of the skill it self ? cus model_effect connects to Data/property/effect/effectscene.csv files u cant add icon index ther ? if im not mistaking.
if u wanna change the icon at buff bar then imagetable

Lets take Increase Range as example (1282):
skill_icon,11282,UI\Game\skill\S_Alo.dds,80,120,40,40,0,0,0,0,
skill_icon,1282,UI\Game\skill\S_Alo.dds,120,120,40,40,0,0,0,0,
Which one needs to be editted and how?

but u are searching skill icon. this is the icon that it use at "K" skill menu
this aint buffbar.

Remember that there're 2 icons for each skill, the gray one and the colored one, you should add both lines into your imagetable.

he means buffbar. the small icons above hp/mp bar
Buffbar = Buffer.dds (buffer_01.dds ) just open them and ull see.

I found mine (its called buffer.dds) and there is another buffer_02.dds, so which program must I use to open dds files?

PHotoshop CS4 - 
google , Nvidea DDS plugin and install it after u installed photoshop ^^ and open ur file

has anyone managed to stack buff his character without getting a ban?
with a lot of difficulties i over buff my char because of the lag in the server and i already have 4 banned accounts...
(i also tried overbuff without l2walker: i log into from the normal client, before select the char i opened the alt+ctrl+del menu and press to endtask of l2.exe, but not confirm yet. select the char and press start and once i hear the sounds while loading the game i confirm...
