ive seen the pink program out there, but i was thinking, for those people with really low computers, is it possible to lower the graphics in the game even more to reduce lag. I myself dont need all the fancy graphics, so maybe ave all the monsters as pink blobs, blank sky etc, stuff like that, and will that reduce lag?

no this wont work, all the textures are on your pc. The connection between you and the server has noting to do with that. It might improve FPS though.

Step 1
Go to the directory where you iinstalled CO and copy the whole CO folder
Step 2
paste that folder into another directory
Step 3
open up the 3deffect file (located in Conquer 2.0\ini\3deffect.ini
Step 4
delete the contents of this file and save it
