Why can't I equip my ship?
Simply, go to your "Backpage" and find hanger. Click that and then near the bottom right is a glowing button called "allocate". Just hit that to switch to another ship, you will NOT lose any of your items, then allocate back to your previous ship. This should fix the bug. If not,...
