OllyDbg Attach process probleme

Hi all

I wants to debug conquer online process but I can't because when i attach the process he break at DbgBreakPoint and after i press F9,ollyDbg Write Exception C0000008 (INVALID HANDLE) and even if i use shift+F9 conquer stay bloqued

afaik you must patch some byte first so you can debug it and that you can find with the debugger too, btw we dont tolerate pushing here and doing a push after 30m will give you the first warning for free.

Hi,

Not sure you using the packed or unpacked version.

If it is the packed version, try upx.

but the version of conquer i use is not packed by upx (im playing on conquer french)

the size of conquer.exe is 1.63M and PEiD detect nothing

i have changed the EP to the Original EP

its work but not solve the problem with ollyDbg when i attach process

Original conquer.exe with ollydbg

after i change the EP (the size of conquer is 1.64M after the change)

Use resource tuner to unpack it. I've tried various unpackers, but some mess up the PE header.

i have tested the english version of conquer and i have unpacked conquer.exe with resource Tuner but when i attach conquer with ollyDbg and i press F9, the game freeze
