How do i attach main.exe to process list?

How do i attach main.exe to process listwithout my come restarting?
it always restarts when i choose main.exe then attach to process.

Depends on what version of tc you are playing.

For nagc, make sure you cleared old engine registry and replaced with new one.
Also check you settings and see if they are good.

Anotherproblem could be you are trying to attach at the wrong time.
