Just saw someone jump into my screen and message a long string of characters of some order that caused everyone in the area to crash. I had two crash and when I logged back on, everyone else was gone too.
This and the "bunny" problem is going to be very very annoying.

Strange?
If you got to type in whole message and THEN click enter to send it, must mean that it gets saved right? Because it get
Just because..it makes sense :P

All I saw is that the string started with a 5 and then had many more characters in it. It was definately deliberate. I think CO doesn't close the log file and perhaps doesn't write to the physical file until successful closure of the client. If you crash, what has been received during that session is lost - I've noticed it other times than this.

If this is the case, the person sending the message would also get disconnected. Unless they have a modified client that would some how accept these characters. Cause I'm sure that when you talk it also appears on your client, along with others unless they have talk off. Even so, the person sending it still see his own message. I'm I wrong? I don't see how this would be possible though.

Even chinese gets registered, it looks weird but it's there. There is also a way to hack the amount of letters you can fit on conquer. Like normally you'd only get so much, but if you mod something you can do more. Maybe he did that with something else so that it double did something. Dunno for sure though.

[Exploit] Message Trick..[Revived!] 01/03/2008 - WoW Exploits, Hacks, Tools & Macros - 8 Replies It was not too long ago (lol) that the message trick where you where you can make it look like other people have said what you said swept though the World of Warcraft community. However, it was very much looked down upon, and it soon fell out of fashion, with all the idiots using it incredibly obviously and getting banned for doing things like making popular level 70's talk about sucking things :/. I am here to revive this great little trick, and with some very easy to use tactics, I believe...
