Uhm it's not nice to post IP's, just use for example parts of the nickname etc. or first 2 numbers of IP.
And we should open a CO pserver forum so this one doesn't get flooded too much about pserver related stuff.

True but can you ban IP's from using your private server?

yes but when they are telling TQ staff about it, it risk's the server exsistance so figure fellow people following server deserve to do as they feel to people who try to hurt the project.

Please dont tell me you are thinking that this forum is a kind of underground forum and nobody knows about it. Nearly everybody from the conquerforum know this page especially since enough ppl are posting pics or links of "elitepvpers.com". There are allready some faqs of tq stuff or norm. players who checking this "famous page" nearly every day and going to report tq about it.

Want to keep a secret?Tell only a few good friends about your "secret project" wich nobody knows but to post this in a public and famous hacker forum who everybody knows is the wrong way to keep it alive.

Well I got 2 ideas to make your project hard to shut down.
First off, display a notice (doesn't matter where) that the server is private and you are coding it for educational purposes only. And whatever you do with/on the server is at every players own risc.
Second, give the source code to a few friends in case TQ tries to effectively shut down the root of all problems (the main coder(s)), if they know they can't stop this project that easily they won't bother

the Admin is working on a TOS that pops up when you login and you have to type agree to play. I just feel people shouldn't report it. They are just like leechers, they don't deserve internet rights.
