black showing in game

i changed a few things around and got torny to show skillsouls client sided.

Except its showing the black parts of the .dds files. how can i fix it?

I don't quite get the problem, did you edit the effects or something on photoshop?

no im trying to make tornado look like that buy changing the files in the tornado folder, i even changed ini files and relinked them to a new folder hoping thatd work but didnt.

the black on the bottom of the tornado shouldnt be there and no matter waht settings i choose on photoshop it wont change it/get rid of it

I'm not really that good on coding, but if we are talking on photoshop, If you are editing on photoshop and save it as .dds instantly, you will get that kind or result, a none transparent edit, to avoid that you should do this

1. Merge all the layers and delete every useless layers on the file(It's the cause why your edit is not transparent)
2. Then save it as .dds, I forgot the setting on the .dds, just search for it.

by saving it as PNG not as JPG before converting..

there was another conversion option at the bottom. i chose that one. but sadly its all black and white conversions
