Hi, if u really want to start programming, than start with first step.
Html / Css, it is my advice to you, to do one step after another to get more experience, in the overview of a script.

C# is perfectly fine to start with. There's quite a few e-books posted here and tons and tons of resources around the web to give you a hand.

Just focus on learning proper programming practice, flow of logic, program design and object oriented concepts and you'll do just fine in anything you try to learn after.

It's all personal preference.

C# and C++ can both do the job perfectly fine. C++ CAN be more efficient/faster but it's down to you to write the code in a way that will make it work. If you're just learning then I'd suggest C# because it's very similar to a number of other popular languages (java and php syntax come to mind) and almost all conquer resources you'd have once you have learned the language are in C# so you can then translate some of your programming knowledge over to conquer fairly easy.


That being said... If you learned C++ you'd be just fine as well. It just takes more work to get to the same point imo.
