Now put the newly edited dds files back into your *****data/main
folder and restart conquer.
|
When i put em in this folder it does nothing...i followed everything you said and anyway it doesnt work...
It seems that it prefers taking the Compiled Files (*.ani) than the *.dds

well all 12 of my skins work for me by putting the *.dds files (skin files) back into your
"Conquer/data/main" folder
It seems that it prefers taking the Compiled Files (*.ani) than the *.dds
The ani files point to the data/main folder and checks for the dds files there if the required files are not there it refers to the data.wdf file in your conquer folder.
If this doesnt help your going to have to go into more detail explaining your problem.

Interesting but skinning CO is lame because you can modify the color not the actual gui...

The transparent skin is in its very early stages and it will be quite some time untill it is released.
due to the fact that every dds file must be edited by hand, No batch action will work. >
