3D Modeling(Character)

I just started working on a 3D Character, I never worked with 3D Characters before so I wanted to try it out. Just to test if I'm capable to create characters and I might make some and sell them. Here is my progress:











This took me nearly 1 hour, I still need to model the hand, foot, head, ears, nose, eyes, lips, teeths. Well yeah, it will take me a long time, it will be awesome if I finish it until tommorow. For now that's it I'm tired.

And I also need to smooth the character, I wont leave it like this for sure haha, it looks like lego. But if I smooth it now it will be really hard for me to model the rest of his body so I'll stick with this. Oh, and I'm also creating this for conquer online, I will try high poly, if it doesn't fits I will make a low poly one. Because I'm trying to improve the CO2 graphics at the moment. And I will release this after I'm finished so you can make your own armors, garments .etc and test them on the character.

You won't be able to use the model in CO2, if I'm right. The dynamic models (e.g. body) can't be exported to C3 due to the limited knowledge of the format.

Yeah, I know. But I will try atleast. I will use the character for a cinematic anyways. It will take me alot of time and it wont be easy as well because it will be high poly and high definition as well. I will use Zbrush to finish the model and put some clothes and hair on him.

Here is what I drew. I'm not an artist so this will be enough to help me finish my model.

Da ich für ein paar Tage nicht in der Lage sein werde FFXI zu spielen hab ich mich ans 3D Modelling getraut. Demnächst wird noch eine extra .DAT Unterkategorie hinzugefügt damit die Struktur erhalten bleibt. Momentan probiere ich die FFXI Models als 3DMax taugliches File umzuwandeln. Momentaner Fortschritt: Modelviewer -> Metasequoia Metasequoia -> Shade umwandler Falls sich jemand mit 3DModelling auskennt würde ich mich freuen wenn ihr mich per PM oder IRC kontaktiert.
