[History + Release] History of CO-P Servers + Source release

Hello i was working on the old,old,very old, so damn mother f***ing old UCCO Source,KylinCo,XeroCO,CoEmu,Co2.1 sources all on patch 4531 and sorted out the Client Close, well atleast i made it happen less times...

About the source i release:

Based on UCCO (Undercover Conquer Online - members einhornchen, ~Unknown~, Brandon
)
  1. It was the first private server ever.
  2. Launched 2004 or something.
  3. Coded in C#
  4. Partially complete server -> still much dun work
  5. SocketSystem: XYNETSHIT
  6. Patch 4343
  7. Database: PgSQL

The CoEmu Foundation Andy, Ranny and Korvacs continued their work and added much features
  • Much bugfixes
  • Much New skills added
  • Possible date: 2005-2006
  • SocketSystem: XYNETSHIT
  • Patch 4351
  • Database: PgSQL

The KylinCo Foundation by Lateralus
  • Coded by Lostsolder05
  • Failed after Lostsolder05 quit
  • Possibly other coders
  • Possible Date: 2006
  • SocketSystem: XYNETSHIT
  • Patch 4351 (Custom Patch 9502)
  • Database: PgSQL

VengeanceCo v1 (walmartboi)
  • First server which got taos working - i liked this server much (was the first one i played)
  • Patch 4538

  • Database: PgSQL

Pwnquer (iresh) UPDATE Pwnquer is now continued by Trinity Gaming (Ocualris, Impulse)
  • Second p server i played i loved it soo fucking hard!
  • nearly everything worked
  • One of the most stable servers i┤ve ever seen bax in da days
  • Patch 4538
  • Source: PIONEER Base
  • SocketSystem: Self Written
  • Database: ODBC, PGSQL Used coz MySQL System was buggy (as lotf 5017)
  • Database: Source is .LUA Driven. So most parts are "FlatFile"
  • UPDATE !!
  • Server stablized, uses less ram.
  • Now loads dmaps.
  • Socket system - XYNetShit
  • Database is still PostgreSQL

XeroCo - Kinshi (no infos)
  • AFAIK 98% same as KylinCo
  • SocketSystem: XYNETSHIT
  • Database: PgSQL

The Co 2.1 Foundation Hybrid/Toshiouri/Josh/Justin/Tanelipe/Zero
  • Most advanced server
  • Much features unique like CTF
  • Less Ram usage
  • more npcs
  • more mobspawns
  • Possible date 2006-2007
  • SocketSystem: XYNETSHIT
  • Patch 4351
  • Database: MySQL

Continued by Yuki
  • Server more stable
  • Less RAM Usage
  • Removed The Queue Feature to offer lower Ping at higher player counts
  • Re-added the "Selector" bug and sorted it out to make it a Feature (more infos below)
  • Converted back from MySQL to pgSQL coz i havent had a Database backup from Co2.1
  • PvP now better working - still no pkp
  • Date: 2010
  • SocketSystem: XYNETSHIT
  • Patch 4351
  • Database: PgSQL

well when u gave me da source to download I couldn't download it...said I had to wait 2 mins and it kept saying that...please upload it to megaupload or something lol...anyways u did a goodjob

When I'm downloading.. it says "Error: Unfortunately right now our servers are overloaded and we have no more download slots left for non-members. Of course you can also try again later."

In my Config.ini i change the IP the only part i dont get is what do i change here

DBname= postgres

and about the sql file it uses postgres not mysql in the source folder are 2 backups
