Hate2Love 1.0 [PVP]

Well, after a short downtime, Hate2Love is ready to be launched officially!

The release (providing no set-backs), will be tonight (31/05/2012) at 21:59pm server time.

The following fixes/changes/updates have been made (based on community feedback):

Fixes:

• You can now remove DLs from the guild director.
• Online time (PVP points) should now be working correctly.
• All skills for each class should now be working.
• Stables will no longer DC you / bug your character.
• Class PK will now automatically send you inside to fight.
• Base Capture has been remade.
• Tag-Team-Elim has been remade.
• FB/SS arena has been remade.
• Items can no longer be upgraded past their level (invisi items!)
• Revive has been removed from Fires.
• Stats should no longer get bugged.

Updates:

• Base capture is now guild based- meaning any member of your guild can capture any base - and providing your guild owns all 5 bases you will all win / gain points. (You must be apart of a guild to enter this event.)
• You can now choose to be a Melee Water at the TaoistStar after creating a Tao. You will receive a different skill-set and strength. You cannot equip backswords (so you will need to purchase melee-weapons from other NPCs).
• Fire Taos have received a decent damage increase to compensate their loss of revive.
• Warriors have received a decent defense boost with shields.
• You will now receive a lot more PVP points for events, but less for online time (10-20 for online time depending on ownership of pole).
• Tag-Team Elimination is now held every hour at :15 to :20 instead of twice per day.
• Items now hold the same stats - meaning you can delevel a super armor / weapon and it will still give you the same benefit/stats as if it were max level. (Customization- shoop de whoop!)
• Proficiencies will now automatically skip to 12 after selecting them once at the prof npc to save you clicking multiple times.
• You can now purchase gems and / socket / remove them in the promotion centre.

I may have missed some things - hopefully not lol. If you do happen to find any bugs (inevitable) - please do report them here.

I would especially appreciate any feedback on the Elite PK tournament which will be held tomorrow as I simply haven't had time to STRESS-test it.

Hey peeps! Following our success with Love2Hate (classic 1.0 levelling server), we've decided to release a second - PVP server alternative.

It will be released this saturday (26/05/2012) at 12pm server time (UK TIME).

The server is hosted in the UK. I hope y'all will come and check it out / give it a chance.

Server Information
You can login to Hate2Love with your Love2Hate account. (You only need to register one account and can use it on either server, simultaneously!)

Instantly obtain second reborn, level 130 with modified stats. Enter the game and choose your class / items.

Once you enter you will be able to claim 1 free skill - (makes sense to take your main damage skill). The other skills will require PVP point purchases later on.

There are no water taos, this class has been merged into fire - so pray for example is a fire tao skill here.

You can transfer your PVP Point / winnings over to Love2Hate to redeem optional rewards.

We strive for simplicity (PLUG AND PLAY) here. Hopefully as little 'looking around cluttered NPCs' as possible.

This will be a 'beta/test' release to make sure everything is working smoothly.

There is no battlepower, ninjas, monks or talismans here. It is still based on 1.0- although a PVP alternative.

Events

• Elite PK Tournament - Every friday at 9pm (identical to CO2.)
  
• Tag-Team Elimination - Twice daily at 8pm and 4am. Captain/Draft based team selection, 1 vs 1 fights til a whole team is out.
  
• Base Capture - 7pm, Strategy based, once per day, capture 5 bases to win (Can last an entire day or 20 minutes depending on your strategy, skill, and organization!)
  
• Wager FB/SS (10 hit arena, all day) - Send challenges to unsuspecting players, bet your PVP points that you will win. Improved messaging system, victory messages (showing the hit/scores) and no item equipping required.
  
• Constant GuildWar - Whoever owns pole gets double online time (PVP points) for their entire guild.
  
• Last Man Standing - Hourly PVP event, last player standing wins.
  
• Class PK - Each day has it's own class event at 2pm.

Hate2Love will be released on Saturday 26/05/2012 at 12pm server time. I hope you will all give it a chance and come and check it out!

One final note, is that providing H2L goes as planned- it will also be transferred onto our 1.0 source upon completion.

Anyway, development went rather fast. I could swear that the last time I checked skills and attacking were not working yet and now the server is ready for the public.

Its not running on the source, it will be moved to the source once the source is completed, hence this is another bins server, so your "I could swear that the last time I checked skills and attacking were not working yet and now the server is ready for the public." is errr well, what can you say lol.

Because of the 1.0 I figured it was the source. And then I somehow misread the last sentence as "if stuff goes as planned L2H will be transferred to the 1.0 source" which I thought was this and I also saw:
"This will be a 'beta/test' release to make sure everything is working smoothly." which I thought meant 1.0 source test.

The teasers looks ******* brilliant! Awesome work there.

However. AcidCO since it is back and has been for a little while now IMO has always been the best pvp & the one and only pvp server.

I saw that ultimation took acid down (and spoke to him and he agreed that he had). This was part of the reason we decided to release a PVP server as there was a gap to be filled.

I like acid and what ulti does is amazing, however they are a US server and we will be EU anyway. ^^
