exploits, without a doubt, bugs more than likely try creating a update action in the database where something like money += 4294967295. im pretty sure the server may crash cus of a overflow on the int. especially if its c++. (thats a guess)

Actions are the same system that are used to make NPCs talk, which can be a completely bug free aspect of the game, if the scripts are written correctly then it can be bug-free, nevermind what system its built on.

Also since when has a hello world app had bugs - so things can be bug free..

Exploiting code != a bug in the code, the code can work flawless (bug free) but be exploited in such a way that you can compromise the system, that doesn't mean its a bug, just that its exploitable.

Anyways no matter, server speaks for itself at the end of the day..

yes, a server can be bug-free (database bugfree scripts). there are shitload of exploits, but that are exploits (can be considered bugs also but ehhh) so yeah, a bugfree db can exist (i own one, and korv&rich r right, scripts including npcs, events, systems etc. can be bugfree).

o.o How on earth do you all manage to turn that into a debate about bugs lmao.

I was referring to the bugs we had listed and collected from our beta test..

Sure, exploits are always a possibility (as are further bugs) but that will be the case with any and all servers.

Who cares though as long as peeps are havin' fun that's the main thing !

PS. tq binaries are not bug free, so dont even think that. they are just pretty stable.

Well, after a short downtime, Hate2Love is ready to be launched officially!

The release (providing no set-backs), will be tonight (31/05/2012) at 21:59pm server time.

The following fixes/changes/updates have been made (based on community feedback):

Fixes:
  • You can now remove DLs from the guild director.
  • Online time (PVP points) should now be working correctly.
  • All skills for each class should now be working.
  • Stables will no longer DC you / bug your character.
  • Class PK will now automatically send you inside to fight.
  • Base Capture has been remade.
  • Tag-Team-Elim has been remade.
  • FB/SS arena has been remade.
  • Items can no longer be upgraded past their level (invisi items!)
  • Revive has been removed from Fires.
  • Stats should no longer get bugged.

Updates:
  • Base capture is now guild based- meaning any member of your guild can capture any base - and providing your guild owns all 5 bases you will all win / gain points. (You must be apart of a guild to enter this event.)
  • You can now choose to be a Melee Water at the TaoistStar after creating a Tao. You will receive a different skill-set and strength. You cannot equip backswords (so you will need to purchase melee-weapons from other NPCs).
  • Fire Taos have received a decent damage increase to compensate their loss of revive.
  • Warriors have received a decent defense boost with shields.
  • You will now receive a lot more PVP points for events, but less for online time (10-20 for online time depending on ownership of pole).
  • Tag-Team Elimination is now held every hour at :15 to :20 instead of twice per day.
  • Items now hold the same stats - meaning you can delevel a super armor / weapon and it will still give you the same benefit/stats as if it were max level. (Customization- shoop de whoop!)
  • Proficiencies will now automatically skip to 12 after selecting them once at the prof npc to save you clicking multiple times.
  • You can now get gems and / socket / remove them in the promotion centre.


I may have missed some things - hopefully not lol. If you do happen to find any bugs (inevitable) - please do report them here.

I would especially appreciate any feedback on the Elite PK tournament which will be held tomorrow as I simply haven't had time to STRESS-test it.
