only 2 packet changes noticable after the encryption change. Character info/init and spawn entity. I guess these changes are to do with the armor/garment appearance selection. Not much else seems to be different packet wise.
RSA is for password encryption (or was) if I'm not mistaken.
RC5 + a new layer not related to RSA or anything. But anyway, the application isn't really optimized... The Blowfish implementation and the DH implementation may be from OpenSSL or something else and TQ just add the entire thing in the project... RSA headers can be in the project, but never used. And by memory, CO2 never use RSA.
I haven't played conquer in months, but since i saw the encryption changed or whatever, i just checked if hell raiser still works, it does just packets need updated.

RF CM encryption?? 05/20/2008 - RF Online - 5 Replies I was playing a little with WPE and now it seems all packets are ciphered, cause for example, when you throw away an item you could recognise a pattern, but now all i can see are random bytes in the throw away packets. Could it be cause of the last patch that CM has applied? Has anyone experienced this?
