Read this as a friend advising you something.

Buying a source isn't smart. If you're not paying a lot, you won't get a good source, because most of the coders here wont sell their source, and if they do, they'll ask a high price. Even if you get hands on a nice source, you'll still have to be able to change things, add things or delete things. What will you do if an crucial error occurs, and the coder won't help you again, or not for free? He has his money, why would he care? Not everybody is nice.

He could pay monthly or make a deal like 1/4 of the donations go to the coder.
