Best LOTF source [Updates will be posted here]

Well this thread is for a few reasons
There are many sources but some are good in ways and others just sucks.
I'm starting a new source with the original source as a base and I'm just going to keep on adding on and make it better. I know much about C# so it shouldn't be too hard. For those who thinks it's all about copying and pasting, I'd like to see a source that was edited by YOU, not something you downloaded from an old thread. It's a lot more and takes time. Flamers will be reported.

-Reason why I'm doing this: Every single private server is binary whether it's 5065 or 5095. We need more 5017 servers. I also have a lot of free time. I'm getting sick of partying all the time. These days everyone cares about ninjas, talismans, horses and all these new ****. What ever happened to old school co.

I just need everyone to list the bugs they know that exists in LOTF besides login freeze, flashing weapons, or characters spinning.

If you want me to add anything, I will if it's possible. I will post the source when I finished 50% or more and continue working on it till I can't find anything else necessary to add or fix.

Agreed the only thing though that TQ has added to Conquer since "New Dynasty" that has been good was the Ninjas. Nothing, absolutely nothing more.

You are considering Conquer v5017 "old school" when in fact it contains "newer Conquer" elements. For example, CPs, Lottery, Garments, Nobility, Broadcast, Potency (or "Battle Power"), or Path Finding. None of that is "Old" and was not the original game play of Conquer. x_x

edit: Yes, you can not implement those features, but they already run amok on the client GUI. x_x

Not really, lotf isn't ****. It just depends on how much of a good coder you are and how much time your willing to spend.

I don't like binaries and to hell with them. There just **** that people use so they don't have to spend much time on creating a server and binaries will suck now since more and more people have speedhacks and the new aimbot [thanks to Hybrid] for 5065 and 5095.

I never mentioned anything about binaries... o.O

LOTF is a (small) step up from using binaries (unless you're just copying + pasting ****).

It's still a very bad source, nonetheless.

Well aside from lotf sources and binaries, I don't think there is anything else you can use.

The best source released besides binaries in my opinion, as far as i've seen would be, well if coemu v2 had alot of stuff coded it'd be the best but since it doesn't then i'll go with Yuki's CoMy source 3.0 i think or 2.5 I forgot.Btw CoEmu has fixed damage calculations, I heard, and CoMy source doesn't. But yeah... anyway...

Yuki's CoMy has:

-Ninjas (no skills though)
-1st and 2nd reborn
-All skills working except ninja skills
-Lotto
-Promotion NPCs work
-Working GuildWar
-Perfectly working broadcast system
-PK arena and Jail maps
-I think all of TC NPCs work
-And more but I can't remember right now

please stop posting for your sake. your basically saying if CoEmu had more features coded it'd be the best? it's far from it. the 2 best released sources are Hybrid Basic rev.3, and Saints June 21st release. oh, i forgot your not capable of using them. little alone distinguishing a good source from a **** one.

And there's the problem. In your head, it's Quantity over Quality. "CoMy" is LOTF. Binaries, are just that, binary files OF a source (therefore, not a source).

In the end, you (and the hundreds of other noobs) will be just interested in how many features a source has over the stability and efficiency it has, thus halting production in conquer pserver development because a shittier source has more "features" therefore making it "better" in every way.
