Help design future content for ProCS!

Hi there,
The Pro CS team (now the Conquer AI Private Server team) consisting of myself, John, and nTL3fty are looking for ideas for future content. As we are rapidly closing in on fixing many bugs and reaching a stable point of development, we're nearing the phase where we would like to expand our content to offer a rich environment for our players.
We're looking for anything from ideas for quests, features, events, and so on. You need not limit your ideas to what you "think" is possible in terms of Conquer as the previous team has shown that limitations are meant to be broken (  ).
If you would like to participate in helping to design future content that you may see come to life on this server you can post your ideas here, or head over to our forums and post there (  ).
Although it is undecided at this point, I'm pushing for that if any player's idea does get turned into real content, this player will receive cosmetic benefits in game to show appreciation on behalf of our team. If a set of users are consistently suggesting good content we may consider putting together a content/designer team.
informal tl;dr:
We're looking for ideas because we're not the most creative of people, but we're pretty sure given the flexibility of the project and what we've learned about the client from the previous team, we can do pretty much anything.
It's pretty obvious that the community has great ideas but are often incapable of either implementing themselves, or aren't going to go very far with their server (for "fun" development) so in my most humble opinion, if I was one of these people I would rather my idea thrive else where (while still receiving credit for it!).

How about the CoEmu selector system? Not too sure about why it would be useful but it's an idea. Feel free to disregard it.

I think it's a neat idea, but there isn't really much benefit to gain from being able to have multiple characters under one account. Not any obvious ones that I can think of, but perhaps I'm missing something?

In my old server I had things call SwiftGems, which improve attack speed. It just needed tweaking with balance. So you're not attacking 83 times per second

It's funny that you mentioned multiple characters per account, I'm actually implementing a system like that (and I support adding this feature to your server as well). Players on my server will be able to use a web interface to manage their account and select a character that is fetched during the login process. The accounts have separate ids than the characters in that case (so no character ids are ever shared).
The advantage of the system was so players can (1) trade items between their characters through the web interface, (2) manage special privileges quickly between characters... etc (there's a list somewhere, just not on me). The basic idea was easier account management if you chose to take advantage of it; otherwise, they could continue making new accounts as they're used to doing in the official Conquer Online.

See, all of that is possible with the way things are. It's a luxury feature and something I would consider doing very late down the server when struggling to think of things to work on because it only adds a slight convenience factor
for players whilst is quite a bit of work in terms of the programming end.
Cost outweighs the benefits early on in development.

Item sets don't really work unless you re make every other item and rebalance the whole lot, which makes for alot of work. Though I'll agree its something I've always wanted to do myself.

Yes, I'm with you about adding all things that frank chen did, they are all awesome!
I believe that this server will be better than the Real CO, I hope that it doesn't have chi, Assassins, and the new system! These things destroyed conquer! All players left it because of these new things!
I will ask you to add me in tester list and supporter for that server! And will benefit you with some new ideas about events and awesome Quests!

If you ever decide to go through with the content-team for quests and such I'd be glad to write a few quests, or a questline for that matter. I just released a questline(  ) I made a few years ago. My writing skills are far superior at this point though.
I don't have much interest in conquer anymore, but to work with you guys once before the game dies completely would be cool. Give me a PM or something if you're interested.

I've waited for ProCS to come back, thank goodness, sincerely Fractions/ Kriptic/ I can't remember/ The one guy who actually played in the server lol. So what happened man? The server went off for a long amount of time, kind of scared me because the server had some good people behind it?

Afaik, the primary developers didn't have time for it anymore.

GM Stored Procs

There are some GM Stored procs that would make certain jobs much easier from a GM perspective, but there's a piece of information I have no clue what it is, or where to get it: @GroupName
