MySQL Issue.

Hey, so I've been facing an issue with MySQL in the past few.. hours, source can't make a successful connection by itself, giving the random error:

access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

I can access the database manually with Navicat, successful connection and everything alright.

Any ideas?

What settings are you using in navicat? According to that error message you ARE using a password for root but you may not be in navicat.

Create a test connection in navi and try connecting. Once you know what your credentials are, update them in the source.

I can't miss such a detail! I already checked that, I forgot to inform that I've made a little mess, Full MySQL, which I downloaded from dev.mysql.com, was already installed and stupidity and staying awake for days made me install Appserv as well. Something weird happened?

How about use a non-broken source? Impulse based sources are no longer any good... Check out InfamousNoones sources


... but whatever, edit the info in app.config and it'll work.

It was never good to begin with, it was alright, but meh.

The Problem is that KillConnection method inside killconnection class needs Database Information and it doesnt seems that u have updated it with the Correct Informations so it will keep sending you this Error and ur server wont start

I designed that file to be designed with a custom source, not to be poorly implemented into a public source (the person literally copy and pasted my code and example code).

I'm actually using Pro4Never's Albetros for my learning purposes, this source was more of a tryout, though, I might use it for setting up something in the future.
