If you want to start an open source project again, do it, because obviously no one else is interested in sparking open source development. I might occasionally help out.

I've experienced this sort of thing first hand way back in HB where servers would develop hacks for other servers just to take them out. All code was kept secret after I left the scene. It was server vs server and not in a pvp sense but all out warfare where people would ddos each other, try to hack each other. All it did was hurt the community. It has no place.

Wasn't me who decided. I wasn't even aware most people lost Lv2 until after it had happened. Lv2 as well as UG is pretty much a ghost town.

It doesn't work. These "random retards" people always call them who make so much more money than you, how do they do it? Obviously they do something better than you. Instead of taking your ball and going home, analyze what they do better and in turn, do it better than them. Problem solved. Now your server makes more money and theirs makes less. This "I have stuff and you can't have it" only hurts the community. The only people who would do that are those who fear the competition. They know someone will come up with a better server and either beat them or reduce their own server pop.

yeah true , but those proves what you get sentences from the main topic , when I was asking those questions was for a specific reason , and who told you that CO was my 1st project YOU just guessed it , when I was asking you about decryption/encryption etc.. that's because I never worked with something like that before , and if you really was interesting in sharing you would help me , and about me thanking you , yeah but if you checked why I was thanking you for you will find it something I shouldn't mention , but I respected you , and in turn you didn't , I have no personal issues with you but only one thing is really bugging me :-

You kept saying figure it out yourself why now your w8ing ppl to do that for you?

EDIT: those questions like year an half ago , now am better with C++/C#/Java.

I know what they do better - their servers promise easy rates, with very little staying power, since although they promise all of these new features, they mooch donations for a month or so until they shut down. Furthermore, they have more time to advertise and manage the community since they aren't programming... Why should I help these people?

Literally, the only advantage I have against them is by programming features that aren't publicly released and making my (non-public) source more efficient than the public ones, because if I give them mine, there's no way I can compete with them... or can I? Enlighten me.

History repeats itself. Servers against servers. This community should be working together. Just remember how it came to be. TQ was being their usual money hungry selves, so pservers were made to break off from TQ. Now the community is fighting amongst themselves and i'm sure TQ is just laughing away as their sales are higher than ever I'm sure with each new patch and new cash shop items released. They don't need to DMCA or sue anyone here. You guys take care of their problem for them.

You were ultimately asking me how to code a server for you, asking me to get my sources working properly for you via teamviewer. You were making little effort at that time to even learn bugging me with questions day and night.

What I am doing is asking why people hoard information. I'm not asking someone to code for me like you were. You were asking to learn a tradeskill. I am asking to not reinvent the wheel. The information required to do certain things is out there, but no one's sharing. Apples and oranges.

I'm not saying anyone's a ****** developer. I myself though, am a ****** assembly dev. Asking me to open IDA or Olly is a joke. Sure, I can analyze it a little bit and make use of some IDA plugins to port asm to some sort of readable c++, but trying to figure things like encryption out via it... just far beyond me.

I asked you to make your server online through teamviewer whats wrong with that it's your source after all, I was noob that something I will never be ashamed of , I was asking too many question will never be ashamed of that also , was finding the old/good coder and ask his help/advice something I will never be ashamed of , so proving that I was noob wont change the fact that your now asking ppl to share stuff which they worked hard to figure it out themselves , while you can do the same and find it yourself!!!
