Opening: March. (Not sure when exactly, but those are the times set for now.)

Okay as I requested the other development thread closed as I could not update it, because of my main account being banned, then I thought I'd make a new thread with updated information about the server. .

First of all I would like to say a few things about what have happened etc.
Well as some of you know KraHen joined us, but timezones kept us from talking and I haven't spoke a lot with him since we started, so I assume he dropped out, since he haven't said anything about it, which led me to continue myself on my other source, which just turned out to be used for this then.

The source is done from scratch. However I'm using pro4nevers Albetros source for packetstructures and looking for methods to do things correct, so many thanks to him for that.

It will be on patch 5517+, but don't worry it won't have monks and ninjas. It's just to not be like old patches and there is a few nice things of the newer patches, that I would like to use such as arenas and mount crops etc. However it won't effect the gameplay of the server.

Now to the more additional information of what's going to be a part of the server.

Tournament System
There will be 4 kind of tournaments.

Team tournaments, Single tournaments, Misc tournaments (Steed race etc.) & Class tournaments.

In each hour there will be 3 tournaments. Which means a tournament every 20 mins. The tournaments will usually run for 5-15 minutes, depending on the tournament tho.

At all there is 15-20 different tournaments that will be running, but I will not give any information on which tournament, but I will let you know there is a lot special tournaments, that have never been seen .

The winners will receive an amount of PVP Points, which is another type of money apart from Silvers and CPs.

The PVP Points can be used for following things. (Will get into the upgrade system later on.)
Upgrade gears from +10 - +12
Upgrade the gems socketed
Upgrade quality
And other features as well, not decided more atm. but no more upgrade features tho.

Commands
These will be all the commands available.
Both @ and / will work.

Players can use player commands only.
Mods can use player commands and mod commands.
GM's can use player commands, mod commands and GM commands.
PM's can use all commands.

/jail - Scroll to jail
/scroll {tc, pc, ac, dc, bi, sc, ja, ma, pk, gw} - Scroll to a specfic place
/reborn - Makes your character first reborn, if you aren't reborned
/info - Gives you information about the server
/prof {profid} - Gives you level 12 prof in a specific prof
/clearinv
/skill {skillid} {level} - Can level one of your skills, but you must have learned it
/str /vit /agi /spi {amount} - Can give you an amount of stats, but max is 500 each.
/job {jobid} - Switches your job

GM:
/kick {playername} - Kicks a player
/botjail {playername} {amount} - Botjails a player for a specific amount of hours, max is 72
/goto {playername} - Teleports you to a player
/recall {playername} - Teleports a player to you
/spawnmob {mobid} - Spawning a mob
/spawnboss {bossid} - Spawning a boss mob

PM:
/item {id} {quality} {+} {-} {hp} {gem1} {gem2}
/ban {playername} - Permanent banning a player
/ban2 {ip} - Permanent banning all online players ass. to an ip
/masskill - Killing all players in the server, except staff
#and various test commands for spawning, npc etc.
Item & Upgrade System
You have to make your own gear by using CPs, CPs can be gained from commands, however you can only make up to +9 and level 130 classic gears. There won't be all that new fancy gear etc.
You cannot upgrade the quality of your gear using dragonballs, CPs or whatever. It's done with PVPPoints gained from tournaments, but tournaments are fair, because it's not mainly by gear, but requires skills in FB/SS instead. Normal PVP is by gear tho and class tournaments, GW etc. is as well.

You can only make normal gears +9 by yourself for free.

The reason is simply to make people work for their gear and it won't be a lot overpowered anyways as +12 will be the max + and it will only be with classic gears.

The PVPPoints gained has to be used to upgrade things such as +, quality and the quality of the gems socketing as you can only socket normal gems. Then you have to upgrade the quality of the gems to refined and then super using the PVPPoints as well.

It will give the players something to actually work for, instead they will have their gear in one day and then just be bored rest of time.

Dungeon & Quest System
There will be many quests around the whole world and you can gain special items, PVPPoints and other things by doing them, but you have to be aware that some quests requires better gears than others.

Some quests will be easy, others will be hard. Some will have mobs and bosses, others won't etc. There will be a lot of different quests and you will gain quest points from the quests, which can allow you to join dungeons. Some quests also require a specific amount of quest points.

Dungeons are maps with mob waves where there will be a specific amount of waves which you have to defeat. Some dungeons are team dungeons others are single. Every dungeon will have minimum 2 bosses and then a final boss, but some might have more. There will only be one final boss tho and once the final boss is defeated there will be a great amount of drop with special items or other things.

There will also be normal dungeons which requires a team of 5, however it will find the team itself. You just join the dungeon and then the next 4 person who's joining will join your dungeon team, then you have to do the dungeon together.

Dungeons can be accessed from different places around the world. They also have different requirements.

Other
At last it will have old jump and there will be no ninja weapons, monk weapons, ninja skills or monk skills. Their armors will be available, but nothing more, because it's aimed to be a normal CO styled server.

The tournament wrapper and TeamDeathMatch is now finished, not tested yet, will do when I get home, then fix showing bugs etc. No time given either.

I'm coding tournaments with 3 wrappers around.
1 global wrapper, which wraps all tournaments, it's called TournamentKernel and then one wrapper for time, which every tournament has wrapped.
Then the last wrapper is the actual tournament itself with functions etc.

The kernel proceeds global variables and collections of data, tournaments and times.
It contains following methods.

bool SpawnProtected(Entity);//This is checking if a player is spawn protected.
TournamentAttackStats Attack(Packet, Attacker, Attacked, Damage, SkillID);//This is returning the attack status, if it should be dealt with as normal attack or nothing. If nothing, then it's dealt with within the method, which is different for every tournament.
void Revive(Player);//This is handling the revive for a player in a tournament.
void Kill(Killed, Killer);//This is handling the kill for a player in a tournament. (Basically a duplicate of original kill, except no gears and items drop.)
Disconnect(Player);//This is handling the player on disconnect. Both all-time pvp statuses and in tournament statuses.
TeamDeathMatch looks like following. It have 3 const variable one as MapID and one as the Reward point. The rewardpoints for winning TeamDeathMatch is 25. The last one is a string array with the different messages displayed.

void CmdStart();//Starting the tournament through cmd, if no tournaments are running.
void OnStart();//This is invoked by the TournamentTime when the tournament should start.
void OnSend();//This is invoked by the TournamentTime when the tournament should send players into the tournament map.
void OnEnd();//This is invoked by the TournamentTime when the tournament has ended. This is also reseting the time and other settings.
void DisplayScore();//This is creating a new thread running along with the tournament, which will display the score to all players within the tournament.
Player[] GetPlayers();//Get's all players that's signed up for the tournament, except people who are not in the map. (If the team has been send in once!)
TournamentTeam SignUp();//This will return the team, which the player is going to be signed up for.
TournamentTeam GetWinnerTeam();//This gets winner team of the tournament.
TournamentTime is a thread.

Pretty nice how you say "ZeroConquer is utter ****" but you still have some features (mostly I guess) like we have there.
Your server is nothing different and it has nothing as "WOW" as you think it is...
I see you like "Vegeta" (the scumbag with the big pride). You're the same, but in the end, you'll accept the facts.

My server have nothing in common with yours, in fact mine was developed long before yours. Neither do my tournaments work same and neither the system. There is nothing above you could ever implement same way as I have into a binary. My dungeon system is what I'm referring to like WoW, when raiding against mobs and bosses. Get your facts straight boy.

Opening in March. There will not be pirates, see it was a classic PVP on newer patch.

Hmm..sounds pretty good, but eh...the missing part for a lot of PvP servers to me...
Does it have Nobility?

The nobility will give no effect and you cannot donate. It's just a highscore of who killed most in tournaments.

Arena is finished and working.
You have to wear a sword or a blade in the left hand or you will lose the match, if attempting to hit your opponent.
You can only attack with fb/ss and any other attack/skill will not be counted.
You cannot lose HP in the arena.
It's a best out of 5 match in fb/ss, so it's not about gear, but skills.

Expecting for a rant reply, I'm surprised.

Either way, your Dungeon Quest system or w/e you call it is not so complicated to implement neither in binary. I'm developing my server since 2008 (november if I recall correctly).
3 tournaments won't make your server the best PVP arround here and yes, you have alot of things in common with ZCO but you just don't want to admit...
I could either use the WoW example for this type of quests either the L2 example (I know it better since I played WoW for like 2 hours I guess then quitted). I'm not saying I can do or implement whatever the hell I want but I still can do it in a proper way.

I have above 20 tournaments

And you want me to drop this? As far as I know my server will have all your players once it open.

You also said yourself you have no chance against AcidCo, but why do you think you stand a chance against mine? Mine has way more features and tournaments than AcidCo had.

Also your players have asked me to finish my server faster, because they think your server is bullshit, let's see who drops it first.

And as far as I'm aware, then I'm not even close to being ignorant.

And you haven't worked on yours since 2008, because you have got 18598 servers before this one. You have max worked a few months before opening, where I started ProjectX during October/November 2010.

At last I have nothing against you, but you think you're so godlike with your binary, but if you are that, why is it your players want to leave? I know half of your players and have known them for years.
