i got an idea
AND IF ALL WAS RANDOM BASED?
would be much simplier for TQ no? I dont think they would waste server memory (or wathever) to remember that the met you got the last month was from skypass and that there would be a guy waching everybody and say: this one deserve a db! The only fact i belive is that met and db increase luck (got lot of elite-super with lot of met)-> once i was hunting and didnt got nothing for 1h30 exept mets. Then i found a db. Then the drops were MUCH better. Super tao robe, elite ring... I dont think it increase chances of +1 but of quality. (based of personal experiences) I also thing that every (i guess) 100 met dropped, the 101 is a db. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET 2 DB THE SAME DAY OR EVEN WEEK(personal experiences)
Edit: Someone try this -> hunting with 10-20 met and 5-10 db (im too poor to try) and tell us your drops!

Ok guys this is kinda stupid what some of you are saying, well I used a skypass met to do this and that, theres always a small chance, the lottery for instance, your odds are 1 in a million, but someones gonna win. So, there may be a 15% chance while using skypass mets, while when you use lab mets its upped to about a 18% chance or something (basing it on the 97 coro) because today I spent 9 meteors from mystic castle trying to up my coro to 112, every one of them failed, so I just went to the market and did it. I think CO is basicaly gambling. Someone might try to find out something about gambling in the market ^^ I bet it relates somehow. And I think your coordinates for upgrading items in TC might have something to do with it, a lot of us stand on the roof and it seems to fail a lot more than when you are on the ground (I got my only soc ever after maint on the ground *archer coat*) so I guess what im saying is these are ways of increasing your odds, even if its just by a few percent it helps ^^

actually
where are the screenies of your theory put into practice. i made known about a sweet spot a while ago. and i didn't challenge anyone to do anything but check it out. if i was going to prove to people what i was talkin about i'd have given screenies to show my theory put into practice which i have by the way. i just haven't figured out how to put those screenies on the forum yet. without showing the names of my characters as it may well put them in jeopardy by the conquer staff who visit here.

i've got 5 db drops ever
once on an archer hunting on bandits
then like the other 4 have come in 2s like in the week i get 2
then my friend.... with his 10 db week streak... course he's an archer...

i have to disagree with u about db drop. i got once 2 db from same respawn with 1 hour aprox of difference (alien apes)
also, i think that we could lear something about new implemented settings with 2nd reborn.
1st of all mobs dont have predeterminated drops, they are set at the moment u pk them.
2nd, there is no certain time when for sure u will get a met or a DB or a socket in a upgrade. i think in some lapses u have more chances, but they are chances, nothing more.
how do i know this?
ok, as they implemented lucky time with 2nd reborn, the luck of the char increases slightly. that would be ¡mpossible to do if drops would be predeterminated.
same goes for time to drop DB/met/socket upgrading. if u use luck, u have more chances, so that demonstrates there is no "sock time", its all luck.

My theories on db were based on personal experiences. I belive you, maybe i was wrong

I think a lot of this is close to the truth. I have spent a lot of time looking at some of the ways to get sockets and the main one that seems to be most believable is a time based one. I got an ELITE Tao cap socketed in TC when uping the LVL with one MET. This was a xx:30 ish and that seems to be what a lot of PPL say. And alot of the other points could well be true. Good post!

i believe each character has a certain luck factor built in to it. before i moved servers, i used my archer to hunt a LOT. in 10 packs of speed arrows, i usually get 15 mets, 5-10 +1s, and assorted elite/uni/ref items. however, my friend got one uni item in 32 packs of speed arrows. that's right, one uni, and nothing else. however, he got got a few sockets and i never got any. so i think that for each character there are attributes that aren't displayed, but are part of your character (drop chances, socket chances, upgrade chances), and they balance out in the end. however, i also believe that you can increase those chances (especially sockets) by using certain methods.

lol i belive 1 or more random generators are used but i allso know ur mind can alter matter, liquid metal adn air are all solid matters and ur brain emmits waves on every micro shore. blab blab,
an ways wen i mine in met zone alone i get suepr gems its a fact, but wenever i get a suepr gem soem one else post a message at same tiem selling suepr gem so i tink ur rigt kind of de put out gems at same time as well as tokens and nd's adn stuff so u cant sell for too muc, if it wer real random it could be 2 seconds ora week between mined suerp gems or nd adn ocudl be sold for 500 mill a nd. at a bad time.
and as for mets used/time on linei belive aplies to monsters killed/time on line, if i log on and start killing imeadiatly i allmost allwaes get a met or a good item, adn ive found 2 supers, arc cap adn necki, and ea tiem was in ac and it was totaly deserted, but still same item sudenly were for sale at same time, its like if u get luck form kiling fast adn being alone, a random person soem wer leeces ur luck at random, lol. and as eintien titled tread it is an edjucated guess so u asses called um rong are stupid cuzz its a guess adn no guess is rong. ur jsut mean! tnx for getng brain juices flowing plus karma man!

GM mode is activated by switching the flag to on that flag is two lines under and 8 bytes in under your password.
The command list:
/out - no clue what it does
/end - server or event stop
/start - server or event start
/ready - no clue
/rename - assumed character rename
/res - res in the same spot or res a character, I know in TS1 it was not possible to resurrect in GM mode this is most likely a fix to that.
/znotice - zone notice

There are way too many theories floating around the conquer community.
Alot of them aren't even based on any sort of fact or even an educated guess.
Before you post a theory, you should always test it out first instead of being the reason alot of new players go looking for a pot of gold under a rainbow.
I'm not trying to be rude, I would just like to see alot less people pointing others in the wrong direction based on little to no knowledge about what the reasoning would be, behind the...
