Whn i log in it says failed to log in due to server maintenance or internet congestion.

the newest file to dl from this thread is corrupted, ive downloaded and installed it several times from each of the links and it lacks the readme file and attempts to browse and can not find it when opened. i also recieve the play.exe file error yet i installed every single time while all co was closed after restarted pc or do i not have the correct play.exe?

If u did all things i said ur CO must have been open when u installed it so the CO.exe didnt get replaced, download *m*s exe to bypass server check
and replace it with the old 1, its plain logic you cant replace something thats in use

read first page.

Run the older download again and uninstall, then install the new 1 and it works

the old files were taken down :/ only 4356-Build3 is up

Lol nvm it, just uninstall it and install it again just make sure ur co is CLOSED when u install it, the link to *M*s exe was on the first page but not anymore so just start from the beginning and follow step by step its not hard at all

which link is the correct one to run the play.exe file since core doesnt come with the correct files, and does lite already have Ms file and everything else including the read me? if so where can i get the lite version?

which link was it for *M*s file?

I reinstalled it with conquer closed. Didnt work.

Alright BlindCraze i have read your posts and i can help you.
So here it is.
First go into your conquer folder open up server.dat press CTRL+F then type your server name. and you should come up with something like this:

Code:

Server=YOUR SERVER NAME
Ip=216.93.174.65
Port=9958
ServerName=YOUR SERVER NAME
HintWord=YOUR SERVER SAYING
Pic=servericon

Change the 216.93.174.65 to 127.0.0.1 and your done

which link was it for *M*s file?

All i did is when i had build 2 installed and ran build 3 and it gave me an error I uninstalled build 2 and ran build 3 and it installed correctly didnt have to do anything else.
first 1 is a hacktool second 1 is the actual bypass

please explain everythng you did because without that i can only guess where u went wrong

but as i said im guessing you dont have the exe that bypasses the server check, if its not in the latest build as you guys say then how come i got it to work

exactly what i said :P just the instructions, only thing that can go wrong is exe doesnt get overwriten with the new 1 when CO is running
