On the right on the L screen, see the buttons SC 1, SC 2...
Right click on one of them, point it at your conquer.exe file, press ok.
Select the character to login(in box on left) and press the SC button.
Alternatively if you already have the game running before you start co2m8,
it will find them as well, thats if your running an english client.

Arrow count zero doesn't trigger a reload as this would cause issues with non archers and also if you needed to remove arrows(eg to take off your bow)

I suspected that much, but you gave me the confirmation, and especially the explanation of why you designed it that way That's a reason good enough to set it to 12 or something
EDIT: by the way, new suggestion. You already offer a skill trainer autorightclicker, would it be possible to make so taos can heal themselves? Just like other classes have their HP pots key, you could have a "(advanced) cure/team healing" key, that will be selected when HP is low, and a right click event sent to the center of the screen (or maybe to some X-Y pixel coordinates inside CO window that you can let the user define), then you will have a "restore previous spell" key to go back to the spell currently being used (for example stigma or fire).

1. Download the rar-file
2. extract it to a folder of your choice using winrar or any other packing tool that understands rar-packages
3. run CO2m8.exe in the folder with a double click (create a shortcut to your desktop/quicklauch/start menu or whereether you like )
4. enjoy co2m8

New report: when using the L menu in last 1.44 release, I have a descreet lag to make it close. Either I use it to start the client with a login info, and I am faster at pressing the Enter button than the builtin routine, or I just use the other buttons to run several AHK macros, and when I press the X button of the menu it takes quite some time to close. Being the utility "on top", the menu covers my screen for a while.
EDIT: I stand corrected: the menu lags is for every single panel... Login especially, as I tried to open and immediately close the L menu while there were 3 clients logged, and co2m8 froze for about 1 minute before the menu actually closed. The same behaviour is for S and C menus, even if not with 1 minute lag like with L.

One more thing: m8 in this new version often reports two lines for a single character, it happens when you start the client with the button from the L menu, after a while it usually says "client did not start" in a popup, and when finally the client is hooked up and displayed, there are two lines regarding it in the GUI. It disappears only if you close the double name client.

Yup, that's more af an eye-candy fix, didn't really mind much as just wanted to let joek know... by the way, are you getting like me the menu-close lag, where L, C and S menus take several seconds (at best still 1-2 secs) to actually close, during which m8 is completely un-responsive? Would like to know if it's a common issue or it's just me with some configuration problems (even if I get the same behaviour both on home and work pc's) (yes I do use CO at work, but it's my own place, so I can do whatever I want)
Edit: BTW, was forgetting YET another feature request for joek I'd like to have a new checkbox in the L menu, sorta similar to disable effects, that allows me to start the client in low resolution mode instead of high resolution, so to save resources in case of multiple clients.

Thanks for the feedback ephe, I'm looking into it now.
Have found and fixed some of the issues you raised,
still at a bit of a loss about the lag thing.
Also looking at implementing some of your excellent suggestions.
Been sick as a dog at the moment so haven't been able to do much work on m8.

@joek
Would you use a feature in your tool, which takes off fast all your items (for repairing in market or in TC)? I could PM you with the source, if you want

New co2m8 1.45(beta) released.
Since 1.44 had some issues and as I'm not altogether thinking straight right now due to illness,
I've decided to make 1.45 a testers beta before I roll out any new features.
This is a 5023 version that should address :-
A> Client rename problems.
B> Area name inconsistencies.
C> Login lag and and other weirdness.
D> Internal issues
So let me know how it flies
Everyone give big ty's to the testers
EDIT:v1.45 Beta Now release As Live.

Imagined you had a big reason for being inactive in the forum, you're so much of the proactive developer While I'm the prolurking user :P
At first I thought the lag issue could be configuration-related, though, using CO+m8 on two different pc's and not having noticed similar problems with previous m8 versions, and not having applied major changes to my system/software, but still always experiencing said lag on both boxes, I think it is a common effect of the new release.
Oh, lastly (but not last), I always and constantly get a "Warning!" voice alert even if I cannot identify the source of it. And eve if all voce alerts for all chars are disabled BUT the whisper one, and I do not get whispers at the time of the "warning!" alert. I thought it applied to the red notices you see appear in top left corner, but apparently it's not it. So I wonder.
And YET another report: I did somewhat of a crazy thing, I tried starting the max clients allowed by my multi, 7, without effects and at maximum zoom, to leave all of them in TG, and I noticed that the more the open clients, the heavier the menu close lag. Well, in the end my PC becamse highly unresponsive (even if I had 1GB of RAM) and m8 crashed with an "Out of memory" error, which could have also been caused by the insufficient virtual memory settings, as I upgraded recently from 768mb without increasing the fixed pagefile size.

Yeah your not wrong the newer releases try to keep a tighter control over the client starts, however lag and manual client button clicks can cause synchronicity issues that make m8 to go into one minute wait loops.
1.45 takes a smarter overview of the client, lets hope its smart enough since the client is rather brain dead.
The Warning voice message is caused by HP going down with the HP auto potter on.
