I think there might be a bit of a misunderstanding, what I was trying to say is, it launches fine from the SC's but, if I uncheck the do effects, it will not show up properly in the character list.

Oh I see, hmm haven't had that before.
I gather the refresh button in that login menu doesn't work ?
Are you running any other tools ?
If you look in the task manager in windows is the application still called [Conquer2.0] ?

I yet have to try to launch clients from inside co2m8, as well as try CO without effects. Actually for that matter, I prefer to launch clients/insert accounts myself, and see the graphics for my lvl3 phoenix
On the other hand, while using co2m8 today, I noticed that the F11 autobotoff function didn't work correctly while the pc was locked... but I think this is really unpatchable now, it's the same problem I've been having with custom made autohotkey scripts, they cannot simulate mouse actions in the window while workstation is locked. Same should be with bring forward/press F11 function. The escape scroll on low health function worked fine tho, so now I wonder. Anyway, the more I use your tool, the more I realize it kicks the llama's ***! :P

Well the more you use m8 the more apparent it becomes that its actually written by someone who truly loves the game but hates the tedious crapola that the game writers seem to enjoy foisting upon us, so eventually m8 users see its more than just a tool with a bunch of functions, but its actually a particular methodology of playing the game that extracts the max in terms of enjoyment; LOL and profit I guess
Sure it has a learning curve but then all worthwhile things do, personally without it I wouldn't be playing the game anymore and I do believe there many others that feel the same way.
From that aspect I've written this thing more for myself that the rest of you reprobates but hey at least I'm sharing the bounty with you all and to that end in a weird backhand sort of way I'm actually doing TQ a service so maybe its time they put me on commission
The botoff stuff uses more open methods of driving the keyboard due to the way sv works and the fact it updates so often thats why locked PC effects that option, not much that can be done about that unfortunately, unless one of the sv gurus wants to shed some light *winks at anantasia*

I'm waiting for my radeon x800xt to come back from warranty, I can't run CO on this backup rage 128 ultra. So I can only play CO from my surgery's pc. And I'm free to lurk through forums at home
This is why, while reading the update post for InsertTool, I noticed that there's something else that would fit co2m8 wonderfully, that is a switch for cyclone mode as a speed-hack (like PlvlPal does, but it would be another tool to start, and apparently when cyclone mode is active with PlvlPal, it cannot be turned off).
Personally, I'm against a full-time speedhack, since it is easily detectable and/or causes frequent losses of connection; yet, it would be useful to reach hunting/leveling spots that are far away, like slowapes/snakemonsters, or evilblades, for all those classes which are not (rb) waters and have no divine hare, and usually take forever to go to by simple jumping. And maybe escaping pkers, even if in that case there should be a hotkey combination toggle like for example ctrl-shift-S to have it ready without opening the character setup panel first.
Other than that, all I've used co2m8 for until now worked totally fine. Once, an instance of CO went berserk, and co2m8 became locked as well, but as soon as I terminated that instance, it turned back to normal functionality without needing to forcibly close it.
<hr> Append on Jul 14 2007, 09:00<hr> And yet something else that just came into mind: hotkey toggles for zoom function: something like Ctrl-Shift-(+) and Ctrl-Shift-(-), useful while hunting to zoom out, but useful to see the health bar of monsters/start SV (which doesn't work correctly when zoom is not standard) when you need to get back to normal zoom

Found a "glitch", if you would call it that. Actually it's a normal function reiteration which sends the utlity into a loop which stops the game from running smoothly: when the hunting/leveling area is in the same map of the teleporting escape scroll city (example, thunderapes and apecity), and so is active as well, and autobotoff is on, then after teleportation on low health, co2m8 keeps pressing F11 (since health is still low, supposedly the pots are depleted and there's no way to get it back up), continuously bringing the window on top and popping on and off the bot window. This both results in a performance hog, and also in a problem when I am playing with another char and the focus is switched to another window. Maybe a workaround would be reading the coordinates of the char after the escape scroll event triggered, and if they coincide with the coords of the spawn spots in cities, then override the autobotoff function as long as the coords do no change. Regards, and great tool still, working wonders!

Something else I noticed during my long co2m8 based botting sessions: the escape function isn't fast enough to save you from a high level pk. A reborn archer aggroed his silverguard on my botting lvl82 warrior, equipped with elite+2 armor and elite shield, so he couldn't possibly have 1hitted me (I only saw my ghost and the silverguard in attack stance since I was playing on another char, and co2m8 switched to the botting window at the last moment for the botoff function). That's why I think a faster escape scroll would have saved me.
Same goes for the spirtihealing function as well, sometimes when I'm checking my trojan leveling, he has full stamina but the spirithealing doesn't trigger, and instead the healthpot does (triggered by SV at a lower health than SH is by co2m8). Maybe in that case it could have been that stamina was 99 tho, and it seemed to me to be full.
Again, for the autosit at stamina function, I noticed it lags from almost 0 to almost 2 seconds, which probably means the check is done every 2 seconds, and sometimes it's done right after stamina is depleted, and sometimes it's done right before, so it waits the next check cycle to trigger sit.
I'm guessing the checking cycles could be set at a tighter interval, maybe modifiable by user, maybe different for each char (S menu), to adjust to the best performance and the least possible system hog.
Then, a suggestion I was leaving out: to make co2m8 blend more with SV, you should change the key associated with the escape scroll, better if user defined, since F8 in SV is taosit to regain stamina for meditation (I realize it leaves pretty few choices tho, F1 is pots, F2 is manapots, F3 is sit for you and potbox for SV, F5 is record route, F9 is meditation both for you and SV, and F10, goes the same for XP skill. Probably a user selectable F4 or F6 would be the wisest choide).
Best regards

[img]text2schild.php?smilienummer=1&text=1.27 Now Out !' border='0' alt='1.27 Now Out !' />
Changes in this version :-
1. Flexible Function keys setup.
2. Adjustable arrow reload level.
3. Tuned up HP potter & escape scroll usage(thanks ephe for your testing)
4. Worked on botoff function, its now one shot, turn on when you activate the bot.
5. Tuned up the title renamer.
6. Adjusted internals to allow for higher update rates.
7. Other tuneups, adjustments and cosmetic changes.
Think Ive addressed most of the issues raised and a few I found myself,
some of the fixes may or may not work
Thanks to you all for the bug reports and suggestions,
keep them coming

Superduperyay!
I'll test it right away... and well, probably I would've preferred some other way to adjust the autobotoff "glitch" other than having to reactivate it each time, but it's clear that it was the simplest implementation on your part, and maybe I only have to get used to the change. People tend to dislike changes, instinctively, no matter what they are about :P
What about the "bring to front for botoff then bring back to mimized" suggestion? Gee I suppose I'll see myself how it works now instead of waiting for your answer
*goes testing joyfully*
Oh right... I started only recently using the SCx buttons and the login function, it is WAY easier like this Plus the effects off capability saves me 20fps in TG! Do you think it would be feasible to have the Login button do the client starting all by itself? Example: I choose which character I want to login, check Effects on/off, then press "Login" or "Dive in" or "Let's roll!" or whatever you could name that button, and CO2m8 starts the client, waits for logon prompt, fills in the info (wthout the special key at the end of the password) and presses Enter button. So I can have my char ready to go without any intermediate passages :P

I found a issues that may be the cause of your problem with m8 & tobo,
however I don't use tobo so depends on what it does when it controls the client.
Let me know what it does.
