No NPC does that at market thats purely lvling weapons 120+
this trick does work and it has been poste a few thousand times but still most ppl dont check the full forum (or are incapable of searching) so it makes it easier for them to find, my eli tro armor lvl 87 dura 26/26 1 db - super 24/24 1 met to 100 it doesnt have to be 25/25 exactly but it is still luck based, serverside reads low dura as failed met/db attempts so increases the chance of a succesful db/met
never guaranteed but very helpful for higher lvls (to avoid in market on supers)

rofl.. try to be more specific about dura's.. every lvl of any items doesnt have to have max dura of 40/40...
maybe he meant only for items that has a dura of 40/40

DOES NOT WORK... at least not for m e n e way... i have a lvl 20 1 sock ring, and it came with dura of 25/25. It worked up to unique. Then 1 DB failed to get to elite, then another worked. The 2 dbs failed to super, and it still hasnt worked
Waste of time in my opinion, but it may work for certain individuals... i personaly think its a luck thing.

How to upgrade quality 07/25/2008 - EO Guides & Templates - 23 Replies Well acctually it's really simple.Every gear has it's lvl(gear's lvl can be upgraded with vio's),when your characters lvl matches you'r gear's lvl then work your ass to hunt bosses for reds.
This solution gives you 75% rate.
Lets say you have a lvl 80 unique helm,and you'r lvl is 80 (should be same lvl but less then 30% at the lvl xp bar) should take you MAX 5 red's to make the helm elite.
From my experience:
At lvl 88 made my elite+12+soc brace to super with 1 red,i was same lvl and 20% at...

1: get a high lvl -5 item or a high lvl soc wep/item (must be high lvl or it doesnt work)
2: make sure the dura is 1-0 if not u gotta wear it down (but dont let it break >.>)
3:if u have a 2nd rb start lucky time and repair it if not just wait till a 2nd rb starts his lucky time in market, tc, ext...
