Suppose I went out and bought and elite 2 soc (sdg sdg) +5 necklace today. If I lower its dura to 25 and use a db it will go to super in 1 db?

You guys are hilarious, This does work but you can't be using like level 100 items.... Obviously it will fail rofl. You're supposed to use Level 60 or Below Items, I Supered so many items in 1 DB. I can't believe people get to read this and not understand it, I personally wouldn't have released this info lolol. For example, I Had Elite+4 1socket armor level 22, Dura Was 25/25 Originally. I Used 1st DB and it failed, I lowered the dura to 23, Used 2nd DB, Success! Why? Because it was low level, Lowered dura. What the other guy said was right, If you lower your dura it assumes you spent shitloads of dbs/mets giving you a higher success "RATE." Test with mets then, Get a Level 80-90 item super, and lower it's dura to half of original and met spam it. You'll see the difference hopefully.

Probably it all depend on luck lower level of items/equipment is better chance of success 10-50 level like upgrading an items on meteor at level 100-110 that may be failed often on tons of meteors, i did this many times it success so far 20DBS failed of only 5 -_-' and i don't know about method of,lowering the dura,and spamming mets thing..it only Luck

THIS THREAD IS 3 ******* YEARS OLD. THIS DOES NOT WORK 100% AND IN MY OPINION IS NOT WORTH THE 5 METS WHICH YOU HAVE TO SPEND DOZENS OF TIMES FOR ANY RESULT. THIS DOES NOT WORK AT ALL ON TALISMANS.

easier method
1. rb with equipment you want to super
2. lvl it once
3. use db
that lowers dura to 20ish without spending a bunch of mets

This still works, trust me. I did it the same way I have for years on a super sdg/sdg poleaxe lvl 100 and it worked. It's all about the item, most new items will NOT work with this. Also, get lucky time! Because it can still fail, just not as often.

Well acctually it's really simple.Every gear has it's lvl(gear's lvl can be upgraded with vio's),when your characters lvl matches you'r gear's lvl then work your ass to hunt bosses for reds.
This solution gives you 75% rate.
Lets say you have a lvl 80 unique helm,and you'r lvl is 80 (should be same lvl but less then 30% at the lvl xp bar) should take you MAX 5 red's to make the helm elite.
From my experience:
At lvl 88 made my elite+12+soc brace to super with 1 red,i was same lvl and 20% at...

ok heres a lil trick i do with -5 items, this isnt a quick money making scheme takes a lil time and effort
1: get a high lvl -5 item or a high lvl soc wep/item (must be high lvl or it doesnt work)
2: make sure the dura is 1-0 if not u gotta wear it down (but dont let it break >.>)
3:if u have a 2nd rb start lucky time and repair it if not just wait till a 2nd rb starts his lucky time in market, tc, ext...
4: repeat this process over n over and the quality will eventually go up

Well i have no idea if it was just pure luck or some kind of glitch but today i upgraded my elite lvl 105 bow to a super lvl 105 bow with only 1 db in twin city
i was standing right by the warehousman facing the artisan and i had to use shiftscreen to see him so i dont know if that had anything to do with it or what anyways just trying to contribute dont flame because im not a noob
