It's my first time using DMA, ive only been using it a few days and I just got perm banned. I was told any firmware would be ok to use as activision doesn't go after DMA users. So I used a generic firmware my seller sent me. I flashed it myself, it wasn't preflashed
Just looking for advice regarding the new steps.. Should I just reformat and make a new account or do I need to do something else?

People do get permanent bans with dma on all games, its not impossible. Buying DMA doesnt guarantee you will never get banned.
You need new account + hwid spoofer that supports tmp attestation or any hwid spoofer for cod and new tpm module.

I heard all spoofers are cooked, so I won't be buying a spoofer subscription sadly. Thanks for the reply though.

Don´t be so sure about that, my main acc in which i have all BO7´s black cells and a lot of bundles is on a shadow ban loop and it happened right after i started using test fw (what you are using) is not even free FW, it is test fw (the one that comes preinstalled on card, only should be used to do speed test) it is not emulating anything, i firmly believe test FW will get you clapped on this game, it is true i did use the same FW on an alt account for a few days with no issues, the reason i got back to test fw is because my dumb *** new mini pc worth 700 eur seemed to not admit emulated FW since it would give me excellent speed test but fail Thoughtput speeds, only test fw would fix it so i thought just as you "CoD doesn´t scan for DMA" and boom roasted lol.
since you are on Blrd you can see a bunch of people talking about the TPM chip thing if you got HWIDed, if you did not get HWIDed you just simply need to format your PC, no need for spoofers which as you mentioned are ***, avoid if possible.
One other thing to get permabanned on CoD while on DMA you need to be raging like crazy tho, did you? or did you carry previous bans from previous use of 1 pc cheats? intersting topic here, my main is on SB loop and ranked restricted despite me never played rank ever but i can play with an alt account normally.

You might have a point. I originally planned to use ekknod or ufrisk’s PCILeech firmware. After compiling them to .bin files and flashing them, they didn’t work. The only firmware that actually worked was the 100T.bin the Chinese seller sent with the card. So the card wasn't pre flashed with firmware, I had to flash it myself. Nevertheless I got the same .bin file from blurred & my chinese seller (free of charge) so surely if people are using it with blurred, it should work right?
By the time I flashed it I’d already spent three days trying to get the setup running, so I was exhausted and just wanted it done so I could play. I ran into a lot of issues I won’t go into, but over about four weeks of research I talked to a lot of people in the scene and they all said the same thing: for COD, pretty much any firmware is fine right now because Activision doesn’t seem to be targeting DMA. For other games like Ark Raiders, you need dedicated firmware if you want to stay undetected. Do you reckon I should try to change firmware's before making a new account on COD?
I wasn’t raging. I haven’t raged EVER, always been a closet type of guy. The only reason I can think of for the ban was shooting someone through a door on Verdansk. But I’ve done that many times before and nothings happened. I do have my suspicions why I was banned ngl, it really did surprise me. Last year it took me 1 month to get banned when I was using proofcore external, now I get a ban 3 days after using DMA... You might have a point regarding the firmware, I may flash it again to make sure. But still, if Activision was going after DMA then plenty of people would of said by now.. hmm idk

They always did driver based detection, he is talking about drivers as in software programs - if you installed a driver that was supposed to be on the 2nd PC then that might be the reason for your ban, seen it happen a few times with people who are new to DMA.. so don't feel too bad.
Make sure all FPGA drivers and flashing tools are on the second PC, completely isolated from the first PC.
Also, the Ricochet post from the other day says they are planning on tackling DMA, but I wouldn't have expected that to happen now. Will happen in MW4 would be my guess.

An bad existing spoof
An application running on your main PC

You could've simply been incredibly unlucky and gotten report-spammed.

If you don't have paid firmware, as soon as they focus on DMA, you're gonna be first on the chopping block. That being said, if there were a few reliable brands with devs who knew how to code a good external, that would keep Riccochet's attention focused on 1PC cheats.
