Need some help / Visual Basic 2010 C++

I'm new at this and have only little knowledge. I have done some of the TuT's and I do have a few books but I figured I would come here and ask for a few pointers.

1. Are there any good sites out there that will teach more than all the mathematical end of this lol. I mean I am learning as I go and I am following along with some of the books but I"m getting board because it's not what i want to do lol.



2. Is there a way to have a program navigate a webpage and fill data in WITHOUT opening the webpage on the person browser.

Any help and or tips are very much appreciated. Most of the sites I keep finding just run me in circles out there. Thank you again.
