added/improved/fixed all of the things I talked about yesterday and more.
you should notice a pretty big difference in the packet flow right away.
no packets will be missing because as I said, the connection is routed through our own "proxy" which takes advantage of TCP (which is a stream-based protocol) to send but mostly receive everything in the right order.
and since packets are flagged with a length header, that "proxy" will take them one by one and log/block them as individual packets, like the ingame functions.
I'm sure many of you already know the concept of a Client-Server application with TCP but I'm explaining just in case 
Network concept:
As I said yesterday, Recv "injection" (Server-to-Client, basically clientsided packets) is available now. which can't hurt I guess...
logging by content (various datatypes) is available as well.
corrected some text mistakes (completely wrong text on the Ignore Whitelist buttons) and misspells.
fixed a small bug in opcode editing/adding in the "Named opcodes" window, a bug where you couldn't add opcodes with "0x" in them even though it tells you you can.
Things I didn't talk about yesterday:
I've slightly improved the injection and a few other multithreading related things (improved the threadsafe operations).
resized and rearranged a few GUI controls.

I noticed a bug when trying to run it on a VM where right after the game launches, before it loads completely, the game will give that error reporting window and basically do nothing.
if any of you have it, don't worry, I'll fix it later on today.

Thats just awesome work Oriya9  Truly outstanding work sir! I left my thanks (As I hope many others do and don't just download it).
Works perfectly on Win8 but a friend has tried it on two different win 7 machines and had no luck, he said it was crashing when the game loads (failed injection?). Regardless, I think I'll be playing with your epic tool a lot in the next few days.

I'm aware of the issue (read the edit on the previous post).
I think I fixed it but I still want to make sure so I'm going through some test phases in Windows 7 (64 and 32 bit) and Windows XP (32 bit).
I will put the new version for download as soon as I make sure I solved this issue and hopefully no more major issues will come afterwards.

unfortunately I couldn't get it to work on Windows XP at all.
which is kind of disappointing, I've compiled everything (including the NuGet package) in 4.0 just so it could work in Windows XP.
but for some reason it just won't work. at least on the VM I tested on.
I can't put my finger on what is missing, I suppose an outdated (more like old) Windows API (most likely Kernel32) is causing this.
seeing as Microsoft is officially stopping all of the support for Windows XP in 3 weeks I guess there's no real use to keep on trying to solve this.
so.. no XP support guys, sorry
Other than that, the previous issue should be fixed.

Yeah, too many updates but.. I've "fixed" a possible future bug that may occur due to an unusual socket ID.

It basically intercepts the information sent to and from your client from the server, decrypts it on the fly and allows you to filter, resend or edit these packets.

Blown away man, I've been playing with your tool all day and it's just awesome. I think I've found something VERY interesting but the servers went down just as I found it so was unable to verify what had happened was real... I'm almost certain it was just visual, but I have a small feeling it could have actually been real. Meh, I hate suspense 
I honestly can't say how impressed enough I am with how quick you broke this all down, wrote a tool for it AND made the tool completely awesome to use also. Are you planning on building upon this tool? (e.g maybe being able to send multiple packets in a row to automate ****** tasks like opening 300 fish at once lol).

i tried it on the private server one since the client files came from the official one.
the game did not crash but the PE did not show up either. too bad. XD

I have plans to add some things, yeah, but this is like a just-for-fun project so I'll add more things only when I have free time.
right now I want to add single spamming, multi-spamming, pattern blocking and pattern replacing.
and I have a few things to improve like to add an option to disable Ignore/Block/Whitelist with a single click instead of deleting it all and re-adding all the opcodes again.
I didn't think about it until I actually started playin' around with the PE and this is getting really annoying, even for me xD
Anyways, played around with a few things and I've bugged a junk character. it's gone for good. DC right after I spawn.
but there's a cool thing about it, every time I login, it's not just DCing me, the entire channel goes down.
channels obviously have some sort of self-restart mechanism on critical error like most games do.
but I did it like 6 times and a few times they did hang (stayed down) for a few good minutes.
I feel sorry for the people though:

I have no idea how important Lament is (assuming it's a lategame dungeon) but I seriously didn't mean to 
anyways, yeah, as I was playing around, I can certainly say this game is not well-coded (serverside-wise speaking) at all.
a dupe and all that stuff is just a matter of time.
I'm not going to get deep into testing stuff, only on my free time when I'll want to toy around with the game.
but I highly suggest you guys keep on digging. good luck!

the version 1.03 does not work on the French server
The first version "work" but there is an error at launch

me tried trading while sending mail to same char using your packet editor.. looks like we cannot open trade and mail interface at the same time.. looks like x-legend expecting this.. and most equipment that are equiped already cannot be traded, they expect this also..
this is just beginning, lets do our best guys.. and please share if you find something..
