They are using attatch rid type of script after a pack is crafted. But there's different types of conditions which don't apply. Like storing in a vehicle doesn't cause the pack to count down timer which is why people who can teleport haulers don't get banned for instantly turning the pack in. When its stored in a hauler and drove around as far as I know they never added an attatchrid to them. But at the same time I haven't seen people teleporting haulers in atleast 2 months so its possible they might have changed that to prevent people from using that as well. But when it's on your back the attatch rid sets a timer for the pack and each npc has a limit on how fast you can turn it in. If you manage to turn it in faster then the maximum allowed time you get flagged for being banned in two hours. That means that traveling too fast is a thing. The best advice I can give if your using it for trade pack runs don't do the run faster then a car or your gonna get banned. And with abandoned packs don't just automaticly assume its okay cause you don't exactly know where the pack was taken from. What most likely does work is runing them a good portion of the way and hiding them then picking them up with an alt and turning them in. But you'd really need to test cause I haven't played around with instant teleporting for around 7 months so most likely all of the former ways to cheat the pack running game could be different. But I know its attatch rid when the pack is created from the npc and it checks the time via npc and isn't a clientside feature. The clientside bans always give you some kind of 3rd party debuff which can be removed and the bans are usually temp with those but the npc ones I have 6 accounts that say you cant get unbaned because they have a log and even if you admit to wrong doing they will tell you they have evidence against you and tell you tough tities

Let's be trolls and ban other people
Let's craft a pack and run it super fast to the other continent and drop it right next to the turn in NPC and see people getting banned left and right (:

I did that once before with hags teleported from rook to fredrich and dropped a pack for someone i really hated and he turned it in and got banned not knowing why ;o

hummm last couple of days, i see some packs inside of the scenario, is it trino trion ( trying xD) to see who can see them and who can reach to them?

But trino... I don't do packs for gold :/ don't try manual detection, go automatic.. I miss seeing 5+ people per day making threads how they got banned by mistake :/

Hmm that's kinda funny, I don't have that part of the mod installed since I run packs legit alot and don't care for the giant poles. But it's pretty funny; i'm half tempted to make a alt account and just pick them up and place them by the trader then sit back and enjoy the lolz.

I can't remember if this was spoken about in the past and I'm not entirely sure if you're 100% done with doing anything with this, but just like you have the warehouse and mailbox anywhere, where you can GET stuff from, wouldn't the same be possible for general/seed/sapling merchants as well? We can buy from them just not sell to them?

Nearly 3K in the mail thanks to the Mod and Derp, over a year ago I used to turn in like 20 packs for barely 300g every other day, and I played legit for a whole year and my gear was only like full heroic illustrious something (pretty ****, I don't think the gearscore was over 2.5k) and I had 3x 16x16 and 1 tatched farm all together and barely made any profit.

I quit the game and gave EVERYTHING away, many months later (over half a year or more) I came back and I had 1 single gold in my inventory and no gear at all (nude) and no land, in just a little over a month I had 3.5K gearscore and some gold, right now I'm over 4K, still need to gem my stuff, and get a couple of things ready and I'll be good to go, and I'm barely touching the 2 months mark (Not playing more than 4h/day and not playing every single day) also I don't even own land right now (nor I intend to either haha) but these tools took AT LEAST 75% of the grinding process of this game for my game play lol..

You know why some people turned to hacks? Because the game isn't about the "skills" of an individual, it's about who has better gear and CCs first, that's it, with that said... the grind to get to the point that you can actually have a decent fight takes a lot of grind (months and months) and many hours of the day that not many have, or you can swipe your card (**** that, not wasting that much money on pixels lol) and by the time you get there more tiers have come out and you have to grind a lot more again, and it doesn't stop... it gets to the point that you see the game as a job and not a game, and you get burnt out before you get to the end.

Also I love launching my guildies from 10000 meters high or get them stuck under the ocean until they drown :3 always fun.


I wonder.. what's gonna come out first AA 2.5 or BDO?... either way after BDO is out I might be there for a while, a lot of my guildies and friends will be on BDO as well, they are bummed out same as me as the housing being instances but that's ok, at least there will be land for everyone and not having a whole ******* guild claim a whole zone for themselves or people hoarding land. I was told there's no naval battles yet but they will be introduced in future updates? if so its basically a better AA but housing being instanced.

Any news on the new mod patch? Specifically like thunderstrucks and AH and stuff? Or is that still being tested?

Edit: Question: For alt accounts specifically for hacks do you guys buy patron for the labor regen while offline?

The TS was put on halt, because I was being bombared by trion, unfortunately, then alot of there graphical issues because from what I can tell they attempted to do to 'enhance' the game in the shader aswell as material files through an old editor was a huge flop.. I can actually correct the majority of what people are crashing from by doing some file changes manually but I doubt anyone would appreciate it on reddit since most are asses to me.

I'm still unsure about why the part of the AH is not functional, regardless, but I aswell as another are testing it tonite ( him mostly since I get watched often an hate having to loadup a virtual machine all the time while he can do it quietly. ).

You can just leave the alt running, if you want, I've actually figured out a good majority just from memory how to get an account on by skipping glyph ( which saves me time if I just run a vpn on the fly to update things quickly ) and also skipping the server selection process and quick-making a character. Still trying to figure out an easy way to skip the prologue, there is an cfg edit that works with it but meh, rather just take it out of the client in memory to be honest.

There is a few things I'm working on with derp, such as for example if people want to sandbox explore in offline or testing things offline to avoid gm/bans an such that I'll be releasing into derp ( trying to figure out how/where ) and ect. Just be patient, trying to get some things done before the holidays and keepup with trions bullshit

I will say, hurhur to celestrata on they're hugest fail, even scapes though failing a bunch on some things hasn't failed so hard as of what they've been failing on recently. I mean honestly, we told them that the ship regrade & pet regrade was not working with they're regrade shit and they still outright said that it included all and didn't even think to ask XL prior for details.. Atleast scapes learned to say "we will check on that an let you know" though 99% of the time he didn't even check, khrolan did.

It's bout end of times for archeage, to be honest, with so many people from the old quitting, an though some returning for 2.5, most will quit shortly after since all of the hacking/cash shopping will continue.

Hope celestrata enjoys they're new company / game management, while it lasts.

Ya I agree plox alot of people in my guild are not happy either with the current state of things, but hey nothing I can do about it. I'll just enjoy my time her as best as I can and then quit when i'm done.

Also about the mod stuff, don't worry too much about it. I was just curious if you're having problems it's best to wait it out imo. I read somewhere on the forums that the graphics problem was caused by the game engine and affects all versions of the game so hopefully when that get's fixed you can try looking into the other stuff. No point trying to deal with it/fix it yourself when XL will do it for you (albit may take a while).

When I use the mod I see a lot of weird grass, it intensifies when I zoom out.
Here is a screenshoot example:



I noticed as well it happens more or more noticable on Aurorira. There is a way to remove that weird grass?
