Archeage Mod Pack

The path was correct, its just that my installation folder is b:\program files(x86)\glyph\games\live

I guess what happened is the previous mods I had used made a few of the files out of sync so the size wasnt matching up. After restoring the original pak and installing the mods clean, its working great!

Hey so I've been trying to get this to work for a while.

It does say it installed properly, but the load time for the installation is 0.5 seconds if not less, I just quickly see some lines of code popping up but it passes too fast to even see what is being processed there.

To add to that, when I try running it as admin instead, the time I see the code even reduces, there probably isn't even any code shown at all in the launcher, really weird.

I then perform the normal process to activate cvars , roll scripts etc, but I don't see any difference in the client, neither to FOV, to zoom, etc.

Is there something I can try to fix this?

Just fixed this issue myself, apparently you only "run" the packer as admin but not the launcher.

Redownload it every time he updates it. It does not automatically update.

This was the same problem that I had. I had to restore the original game_pak (if you did not back this up you can just reinstall Archeage) and then install this mod pack, and everything works good! Just remember that this mods treasure finder is not a giant red beam of light, its a black beam!


Plox -- Hey bud could you possibly make the nude mod off by default instead of us having to move it manually to optional? I can't imagine there is that many people that actually want to run it lol. Might also want to add to the readme about how to disable the nude mod. Also, I have not yet see anyone with this but is there a way to make mail accessible from anywhere like warehouse is?

You need to move this folder to optional to disable nude mod.

(The above is for anyone else not sure how to disable the nude mod)

Not sure if thats as much of a bother for anyone else but I have family that I'd rather not see that kind of stuff xD

This happens because your config is not targeting the correct folder. Make sure the config is setup correctly, and remember you must have game_pak at the end.
i.e.
AA_Path=b:\Program Files (x86)\Glyph\Games\ArcheAge\Live\game_pak

Adjust as needed to match your directory name and then run option 1 again, should be fine

I reinstaled the game again but yes right this chest finder not good other modpack chest finder red and bright and too easy for see . plox can you change it to red and bright one ? its can be too better

I will do the nude mode in optional after a bit more updating of some things, the mailbox anywhere is not included yet but yes, it does exist and it is coming soon - doing it differently then how some others are doing it an trying to finish it up and also waiting on somebody to forward me a readme back that is all cleaned up for everyone too

No, that mod is obsolete now.



Changelog:

• Fixed housing script, should not crash/break anymore.
• Cleaned up some files.
• Added Derp.exe ( see below for info ).
  
  

Derp is a tool that hooks archeage and allows you, without needing the cvars, to modify your zoom ( this works for hauler/boat zoom distance aswell ), your Field of View, Terrain view distance and Foliage ( trees N shit ). It also allows you to disable ingame Fog and display the hitboxes of models ( for pvpers ) and also a little button for debuger info for those interested. It is written in C# , requires .NET to be installed and in some cases to be ran as admin.

This has been tested briefly on 3 different machines ( reason for v0.3 ) and I open it for now for everyone to play with. If there is issues, dont just go "IT DUN WORKES", explain in detail what your using ( OS / .NET version ) and if you've ran it as admin, if there is any antivirus software installed and ect.

This is an obfuscated program ( to avoid some prying ), so it may showup as Malicious due to its Hooking. I assure you this is clean, it uses the same back-end mostly as Unf for gw2 ( for those who have used it ) for the memory class I made.

No this will not get you banned ( I was using v0.1 for a week+ now with the zoom/fov ) and yes it may break on updates but I will update it as needed if needed. This has no lifetime, as I cannot guarantee this will work past gameguard stage or if it will be blocked at any point - so enjoy this while you can


Notes for Derp:

• Setting Terrain/Foliage high on low-end machines will cause crashing.
• Zooming out really far then swinging into terrain will cause a loading screen, this is due to how the camera eye works with cryengine & char position.
• Hitbox will also show blood on the ground.
• This will have things added to it in time but is my own private project with no help so don't expect features non-stop or it to last a lifetime as things may break it or cease it from working.

P.S.: The main post & readme WILL get its update when I have time, please be patient.

Which enables / disables the fog? Checked or not checked? When checking or unchecking Fog neither seems to make a difference so I'm probably just missing something

Also can you show an example picture of what you mean by the hitbox?

I downloaded the new mods package, and uninstalled the old one. I installed via quickbms again.

Instead of doing the normal 3-4-5-6 with qbms I used the Derp.exe which I loaded before I started archeage. I'm not sure if I'm doing this right, but I keep it open before archeage launches, and it does hook just fine. The zoom works great, the hitbox and fog whether checked or unchecked does nothing. The sliders all work great.

Also when using the derp.exe before loading archeage the warehouse anywhere mod and the patron button placement mod do not work. (Derp launched as admin or not admin is the same result)

Closing out of the game and doing this manually via quickbms does make these features work again.

Well the fog is irrelevant if you are running the cvars. The hitbox should show right up when you target something, doesn't it?

trying to figure out how to run derp.exe im not sure if i need to install the new mods or not but im about to do that. should i run derp.exe before or after i run archeage. does it even matter? tbh ill just keep rolling cvars and stuff untill i get it fixed. some people just dont want to be bothered with everything else just for a zoom hack
